thanks for showing your haul 🤗 I want to try cooking a brisket again, did only once 11 years ago years when spices and vegetables were normal, and wonder if tasty with perhaps just salt and granulated onion? In NorCal Costco I bought frozen Wild Arginine shrimp 2 lbs bag for a fantastic price on sale for $10.99 And 5 lbs boneless Ribeye roast @$13.99/lbs, only Choice Grade (marbling only ok) but not mechanically tenderized like almost all Costco meats in US so I can cook rare

We personally use erythritol in occasion and haven’t had any issues with it but some people find that it can trigger their sugar cravings

I went on a carnivore diet during pregnancy and I didn't know I had histamine intolerance I ate everything and I got very sick I had hives every day so I had to take a break for my body to recover I didn't know that meat is rich in histamine

Aged meats are high in histamines, try getting the fresh/non aged ones!

Im newish. Is meat from stores good or allowed? Compared to grass fed, organic fed, pastured raised, no antibiotics, no fillers no grains, free from everything? I thought it was meat bought from farms who have the best pastured raised process?? Im confused. ❤

It's what you can afford. Ultimately regenerative grass fed and finished is "best", but the most important part is doing what you can afford. Hope this helps!

@@bellalove3097 I personally stick with bison, lamb, venison, and elk bc I am highly allergic to soy and have a sensitivity to what the animals eat as well as the aging process used in beef. I get soy free eggs if I can't then I only eat the yoke as I respond less to that. If you have food allergies then it's important to be careful but if you don't then the best thing is to simply start. When you begin to feel better than you will be willing to rework a budget accordingly. Cutting out processed foods and sugar is a great starting place. Buying a fourth of a cow or other animal is also a good idea if you have the upfront cost and freezer space. You'll end up saving more in the long run. Don't forget to ask for the bones to make your own bone broth.
