What a great idea and Video! Adding to the theme- If you want to make Freezer Meals and need inspiration- Look in your Freezer Isles in your Grocery Store! Look at the foods that you and or your family love and recreate them! Just learn your freezer guidelines and don't be afraid to experiment. And remember that even just having your meats ready to go can be as simple as a marinade or seasoning! Start small and work your way up. You can do it! I know you can!

We are trying our best to get videos of the prepared meals to go along with our assembly of them, but it's been challenging because we make a bunch of food in one day but then it takes us weeks to eat it! The timing is tough. However, if you look WAAAAY back in our earliest videos, Sharla had a series called "What's for Dinner?" where she showed what her family was eating that week for freezer meals. Have a look and see if that scratches the itch for you! lol

So glad y’all did this video! When my mother in law visits she goes to Costco almost every day! And on her day to cook dinner she gets the chicken Alfredo to heat up. For me it’s the chicken street tacos EVERY TIME!! My daughter is obsessed with the salmon. Now, I need you to figure out how to make their chocolate chunk cookies for my son! lol ❤❤

Yum! Years ago I found a copy cat recipe for their poppyseed muffins, which we can no longer get in Canada. I haven't made them but I came across the recipe a few days ago, so maybe it's time.

I've only ever made turkey stuffed peppers, a recipe I got from e-diets years ago when e-diets was good. One thing with that recipe is that you boil the peppers for a couple of minutes until soft. Let them sit upside down to drain, then stuff, and bake. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but we all like them. When I want it but dont want to do all the work ill do deconstructed a just chop up bell peppers

I haven't heard of that before - boiling the peppers first, I mean. Interesting. They seem to cook ok from fresh for us in the oven. I wonder what the purpose of that boiling would be. Thanks for your comment!

Having a husband that was an Assistant manager at your Costco, my favorite there was the Chicken Alfredo, and the Tacos. I love this video and will be trying out your suggestions.

I have been making a lot of freezer meals lately not because of being busy but b/c I am now only one person. It is very difficult sometimes to make a dish for just one w/o a lot of leftovers. I have started splitting recipes and freezing part for later and/or packaging "leftovers" the day they were cooked into ready made freezer meals. Think of it as homemade TV dinners. I have a Food Saver Vacuum sealer that I use the heck out of.

The only "convenience" meal we grab from Costco is a pizza about once a month. But I loved that you did this video as so many will grab those convenience meals.

It didn't even need it! She knocked it out of the park! But yes you could. Or a very little amount of mayo works ok as long as it's in a sauce. Great suggestion!

This was our first time trying it, so there is no recipe up yet until we have made, frozen it, thawed it, cooked it and eaten it! Then there is a bit more of a process - if we need to tweak it, we start over. If we like it, we send it to our food photographer and she makes it and takes photos. Then it can go in the Freezer Meals 101 Club. Then, it gets in the queue to go up on the website which can take a few weeks. Sorry, you'll have to wait! But at least you know that when it's up, it'll be freezermealized and ready to go!

I honestly never bought those premade meals. I’ve seen them & they do look good, I’ve just won’t pay the price. I’ve typed the name in the notes in my phone & then looked up it on Pinterest to try. I figured if I didn’t like it then it’s my fault without the price gouge.

A tip for cutting your own beef strips: par-freeze the meat before slicing it (stick it in the freezer for only about a half hour to an hour, so it's slightly frozen but not solid). This makes it much easier to slice.

Hi Mari! We always test our recipes afterwards (by freezing and then cooking) and see if they need to be adapted or tweaked and then once they are as good as we can possibly get them, we publish the recipes and add the links into the video description. Sorry for the wait. We would just rather get it right than put up something sub-par.
