Just unpacked/washed & am doing the 14 cup tap water run through ! Thank you so much. Question. I've never had a coffee machine where the water filling area isn't removeable ....couldn't believe this model doesn't have way to clean plastic...plus water over time does create need to thoroughly scrub container... What do I do? I didn't see initial cleaning of any kind prior to water test...Would you advise please on anything you might know to really clean inside plastic water area...I'm super concerned about chemicals... Hoping you or others might have worthy suggestion. Thanks again...Great video.

I use white vinegar 80% water 20% vineger mix. then run full pot of clean water 2 times. That cleans the plastic and lines. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Crap, I didn’t rinse it out either. Didn’t see that tip in the manual. But I did run a full pot of water before making coffee though. Hope that was enough

I love how you went over the charcoal filter. I wasn't clear if I should leave it in the coffee maker or not cause the instructions say to leave in water for 15 minutes wasn't sure if that was per pot of coffee or initial start up? Was wondering if you could clear that up for me thanks. You did a great video.

Yes leave it in the water 15 minutes just to prime the filter. After that leave it in the coffee maker all the time. Change it every month or so depending on taste

I have the same issue. It don't stay heated as soon as it brews. To me its not worth any $ because now u have e to take an extra 3 mins putting it in the microwave. What a waste of time and money oh and space !!!!!

@@YourReviewChannel I hit the auto on bottom seemed to stay on and heated however again its not hot enough for me, it just taste better extra hot. There's a few far more expensive brands that do a better job heating.

I’m having the opposite issue with mine. Stays piping hot hours after it’s done brewing. I mean McDonald’s coffee HOT. Kinda scary. Haha!

@@chapasebastiano8 -haha! It’s model CBC-7000PC. Just got it yesterday at Costco for $49. I have it set to stay hot for 3 hours after brew. But I need to figure out how to lower the temp cause I’m pretty impatient when it comes to drinking coffee. Lol, I want to start sipping right away
