Cuisinart Programmable Coffeemaker Demo

[model DCC-3200] Straight to the point demonstration of the Cuisinart "PerfecTemp" programmable 14 cup coffeemaker. In this demo I make a full pot show how to set the clock and auto on timer as well as briefly go over the other features.
Used the bold setting (with medium strength Chock full o' Nuts coffee) and medium carafe temperature setting which brews around 160F degrees. Full pot took around 17 minutes to complete.

Once you hit brew (ON) button, does it brew whatever amount of water you put in? I tried to use the 1-4 cup setting but it went past it brewing all the water within the holding tank. Am I doing something wrong? BTW Thanks for the video very helpful.

Do you have to use the stick filter which holds the little white square filter OR can I just use my already regular Brita filtered water in lieu of? That is to say, does that snap in filter stick need to be used in order for the coffeemaker to run properly?

No need to use the stick filter as that is just an "upsell product". My mom currently has this unit and has been using filtered water for years and it's working fine still. I also recommend researching the Cleary Filtered water pitcher... it is way better than Brita.

How long does the coffee maker stay on before it shuts off??

I remember the factory setting being 2 hours but can also program to turn off either right away and/or up to 4 hours.

I bought the black stainless steel version Ive had it for at least 3 months And ive had no issues, I will concur with a few opinions other owners have about generak design factors/elements Agree that the area to pour the water from the carsfe into the tank could be betterr And i agree that it does seem to nake a lot of unfamilar noises when brewing that i have not yet heard any others make ( by noisey i mean it literally makes subtle noises that cause u to go whst was that, they arent disruptive or if in detention on a saturday in school if yiu brewed a pot it wouldnt cause the principal to come in all flustered stating he heard a ruckus and hes hell bent to stout that one of yall caused this ruckus Lol Its good coffee maker, that i find makes consistently good cofffee

I will add that the design of the top of the carafe and the new design with a lip or shelf around the top where the lid presses in Is kinda frustrating as you have to seemingly develop a special motion to completely empty the carafe Maybe some bright idea person had it put into the design to aid in catching any random grounds that got into thr pot So it doesnt end up in yer cup
