Went to Costco yesterday and walked by a couple ladies who were asking what the difference was between the different EVOOs. Overheard them in passing, and told them which one to get and referred them to FlavCity. Spreading the love!

I use the Kirkland Italian EVOO for cooking, but mostly for salad dressings. I go through one of those bottles pretty much monthly. Love it and never felt better.

@@msymsy3293 yeah, but I called the manufacturer to ask and they said that it’s still expeller pressed. They just changed the labeling. You can also call them to confirm. But they could also be lying.... guess we’ll never really know for sure.

I just use homemade ghee/clarified butter. It only takes like 30 minutes to make, and it has a high smoke point as well as this nutty flavor. Love it!!!!!!!

I use that tub of organic virgin coconut oil after bathing. You can apply coconut oil just as you would any other lotion. It works best on slightly damp skin, so applying after your shower is ideal.

I don't know if Bobby will read this but I recently bought the Kirkland grassfed butter! So back in india my grandparents had their own cattle etc and made everything home so I know how pure butter n ghee can taste. Ghee is called liquid gold edible in our culture. Until now I made ghee outta kerrygold but boy must I say this Kirkland's butter is of even more superior quality! And ghee turns out absolutely pure golden! Im so in love with it. Quenched my years of cravings in first spoon itself!

I would totally buy that Italian olive oil, but I only buy oil in glass containers. Plastic leeches chemicals and a weird taste. That being said, I LOVE the California olive oil at Costco. Last time it was on sale for $6.99, I bought a whole case of it (12 bottles). It’s in glass too. We go through olive oil like mad in our house.

TL, glass or plastic doesn't matter if you're trying to store Olive oil. It's not a long-term storage food. Are you sure it's still good when you're getting around to using your 12th bottle? I'd be very surprised. Nobody uses that much olive oil in a household.

I watched his shows on olive oil and avocado oil. I told my sister that Costco olive oil was one of the best. She just laughed at me. She said you believe things you see on KZbin. Anyone can start a KZbin channel. How does this guy know which oils are genuine? Does he analyze them all? She had a bottle of olive oil. It said on the bottle that due to Canadian law this oil doesn’t contain any (I forget what ). It did not say it didn’t contain any oil thst wasn’t olive oil. It said it was a product of Itsly. She said thst the government of Canada wouldn’t allow someone to sell olive oil if it wasn’t pure olive oil. I don’t think she is correct. How does he know that grocery store oil is often not all olive oil? I believe he’s correct but can he prove it for my sister?.

Glad that I watched this channel! I was told that the Extra Virgin OO is not good for cooking, does not have high smoke point. That is why I buy the 2 Pk OO. I also buy the Avocadp oil & Coconut oil. Have not used Canola, Soy or Corn oil in 20 years! Stopped using Grapeseed.

One year I was using coconut oil for cooking, and My Husband and Mine glaucoma numbers went up in the eyes. Then I used to eat olive oil religiously, but I got fatty liver with that. Finally I am back to butter. I just stirfry my vegetables add a little bit better and enjoy my food.

Considering you are concerned with inflammation I’m surprised you didn’t talk about how much Omega 6 Avocado has, the ratio of Omega 3 to 6 in avocado oil is around 1:10

I’m not sure which videos I’ve posted it on, but I know I’ve posted a few times in the past about Sartori grated Parmesan. It was my favorite because it was just pure, grated Parmesan with no fillers and no anti-caking agents. It was like you’d grated it yourself, but without the work! Well, no longer. I opened up a new bag today and, while measuring, thought the label ingredients looked long so I grabbed my glasses. They have started adding potato starch to their grated cheese now. So sad... Now I need to suck it up and shell out for a good cheese grater! Thought I’d give a heads up to Sartori grated Parm users!

Watched dr sten ekberg ‘s video the other day about cooking oils and he said avocado oil is pretty much no better than other vegetable oil… best cooking oils are actually ghee and butter or (refined) olive oil , even lard is better than avocado oil … I’m quite surprised tbh

But to be fair refined avocado oil is still way better than other refined oils like canola/peanut. Sten Ekberg mentioned this couple times as well.

Just went to Costco tonight in Portland, OR. After this video, I planned to buy more bottles of the Chosen Foods Avocado Oil. The CF oil in the old packaging was already gone. Instead, there was a new avocaco oil, think it was Ottovio. But there was a larger size Chosen Foods avocado oil. Not a gallon, but larger than the previous version. And there wasn’t a star on the new price tag. Sorry I didn’t get more info. Should have taken some pics.

I told a guy that is pre-diabetic about watching your videos and all the good information you give people about what causes inflammation, diabetes and other stuff. I turned everyone on to Siete chips. My husband thinks Im crazy. I chase the organic, whats on the dirty dozen list, and who has my seiete chips. I don't know why but i'm loosing weight. In one of the previous videos you said that even non-virgin oil is ok, and you use it for frying (and virgin for finishing). Not anymore?

Our Costco in SoCal now carries bigger containers of both Chosen foods oil options. Maybe they’re just sizing up in all locations.

5:16 the guy behind you grabbed that 2 pack of canola oil that you were just talking about. Well we've all done it. I guess I was told that canola oil is good for you rather than vegetable oil , so I used it for a while but then stopped because it went rancid so fast.

Bobby… they already took away Chosen foods avocado oil here in Dallas!! They put another brand that I don’t know and I’m not sure it’s good as the chosen foods one !! I’m so sad as I use it now in everything! Do you recommend any other oil for frying?
