Love a good Costco haul! Two tips! -flour can have weevil eggs. It’s suggested to freeze flour for 48hrs to prevent any eggs from hatching. It’s very normal for there to be eggs in flour. We also buy our flour in bulk and freeze it for 48 hours before storing it. -jasmine rice at Costco is a great deal and cheaper than the sticky rice but still may give you the Asian flavor you’re looking for! It’s not sticky but it’s pretty good rice!

You can make your own bread flour by adding vital wheat gluten to all purpose! 1 cup AP remove a tsp and add a tsp of the wheat gluten :)

1/2 cup milk (I use whole milk) 1/2 cup pineapple juice 2 tbsp honey 1 tbsp yeast 3 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 tsp salt 2 eggs 4 tbsp butter Add milk, pineapple juice and honey together. Heat in microwave until warm to touch ( 1 min in 30 sec intervals - milk will curddle because of the pineapplejuice, but trust the process 😊). Add yeast, stir and set aside. In mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, eggs and butter. Once yeast has had time to rise (about 5 min) add to flour mixture and mix until incorporated. Dough will be sticky. Roll dough on a floured surface into a ball until not sticky anymore. Cover and let rest for an hour. After an hour, section into 8 equal size rolls and place into buttered pan. Cover and let rest while oven pre-heats to 375°. Once oven is heated, cover rolls in an egg wash and bake on middle rack for 20-25 min. Once done, brush with melted butter and honey and sprinkle with a little salt. Let me know how it turns out!! ❤

Costco shopping is nice but so much recycling! 😅😂 When toothbrushes are still newer but need cleaning they can be put in a cup of hydrogen peroxide for about 15 min. And rinse them well after under hot water. This will sanitize them good. ✨I bet it’s so nice to have a big pantry now. ✨

I live in So Cal. we went through the quick quack car wash today. it is so cool. i was surprized. the 1 we got had those neon lights, but it also showed images on the windshield. fun! we have a Dutch brothers a lil far from us, but they will be putting 1 in our town. it always has a very long line. went to Costco today but didnt get to do my shopping i was helping someone do theirs. nx sale is a good 1. i want to get a gift card to use, not sure if i can get the discounted prices with that. our membership exp in Feb.
