Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! kzbin.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

Thank you very much for the nice video. I looked at all the videos posted by Hisense in KZbin and only in their oldest video they show that window panels installation like you are showing but all their newer videos shows the sliding part of the panels should be facing outside so you won’t see any of the sliding part from inside the house. I just wanted to point that out. Either way it should not make that much difference but it does look better if you leave the sliding part facing outside like they show. Thanks again.

hi! great video. i just bought this AC. My window is about 29 inches, so I have to use the small extension. However, the extension covers half of one of the holes on the panel. Do you know what I can do about this? Thanks :)

Hi one other solution is to convert the dual hose into a single hose. Just don’t connect the left hose (which is supposed to take air from outside in) and only connect the right hose which exhausts hot air out. So you want to use an extension to cover the left hose hole on the window.
@NathanKull

@@michelleschmidt5108 I'd find a way to cut it - Running into same issue, but the whole reason this AC is better than others is the dual hose design, i would not convert it.

I brought 2 of them at different time in Costco. The first one is my bedroom and it is working just fine. Noisy but cool off fast. So far I have not try other function since it is still Summer...

Hi it does cool really fast and the fan Om high is blowing a lot of air. Haven’t tested the other modes. The only problem I notice is when you try to use the remote to change the temperature then try to change the temperature on the AC itself, it will sync the temperature on the remote. So the remote doesn’t know the temperature on the AC. It only remembers the last temperature set on the remote

How do we use the heat pump? Do we still use the hose while we use as a heat pump? Thanks
@PaniaThong
@PaniaThong 10 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for your comment. yes portable air conditioners that have a heating mode also need to be vented to the outside. This is necessary to remove the hot air that is generated during the heating process.

@@PaniaThong Thanks for replying! Of course I've "liked" the video and I'm now a new subscriber 🙂 . I guess using the window screen prevents anything from crawling in the large grates of the exhaust. Do you think having the window screen down while the air conditioner is running makes it less efficient? Can it make running the air conditioner dangerous or harmful? Thanks again for an excellent video. It's been very helpful.
@PaniaThong
@PaniaThong 11 ай бұрын
Thank you for Liking the video and being a Subscriber! 🙂 yes having the the window screen will help prevent. It’s from going inside the hose. It won’t affect the performance of the Air Con. Most houses come with window screens so when they built the air con they put that into consideration. Have a great day!

will water go in through the hose when it rains?
@PaniaThong
@PaniaThong Жыл бұрын
Good question! Insects and dust can go inside too. For the rain, if the angle is not too tilted it won’t go in. If you are worried, you might want to add a window screen so it will prevent bugs and stop some rain from going in.

Hi thanks for asking. It was on sale for $299.99 last week. I haven’t tried other functions other than the Fan mode and AC. Considering the price point, the fast cooling, the noise, the electricity cost, the ability to control with smart home, and the random temperature change bug, 2 years warranty and extended warranty from Costco, I would give this an 7/10 to 8/10
