Due to your tutoring I cancelled my appointment (home repair contractor) and this “girl did it all by myself”. It has brought the temp down 16 degree. From misery to happy. THANK YOU ,,,,

Wonderful help. Costco and Hisense should have your link this July 4 heatwave. I have a horizontally sliding window but this and a sketchy image in the Hisense QuickStart brochure made it happen. Thank you during these 100F days and 70F nights.

I know I was amazed. I took this over to my sisters when her AC broke and put it in her window and she hit it for three weeks and it cooled her 1200 square-foot apartment and she never had to drain it so I think it’s self evaporating highly recommend it for sure and Costco had them for 320 bucks so cheap, thank you for watching. Stay cool.

Youre easy install video helped me install this with ease other than my hoses has to go on a sliding glass door. I had about 6 inches of no plastic so i bought a piece of Styrofoam to fill in the missing plasic at the top of the door. Just installed this morning . THANKS 🌹

Here's a tip to cool that hose and it's free, get a large bath towel, wet it a lil bit with cold water, then drape it over your hose, instant hose cooler!!!!

P.S. There are some what better horizontal window installation info in the Installation Manual. Note also to peel the backing off the foam slowly and gently or the foam will rip.

Is the unit truly no need to drain? What is the capacity of the water container ?

I’m not quite sure how much water it will hold, but it is self evaporating

How's it working out for you? I just ordered one for my grow tent. I plan on running the intake thru the floor to get the cooler air and the exhaust out thru the roof. My goal is to keep a 10x8 shed below 80°f
@TomLeeman3 ай бұрын
I was pretty amazed. This thing worked really good and it really didn’t draw a lot of water so I believe it has a system where evaporates but we put it in a 1200 square-foot apartment and a cool in Florida so that’s pretty good and it’s quiet or at least quieter than the other ones that I’ve tried.

Do you have to put water in it and where?
@TomLeemanАй бұрын
No, you don’t put water in it. You drain water out of it but this one here is self evaporating so you should be OK. Good luck thanks for watching. Stay cool.

Hey do you think the air vented out is just getting sucked in by the other one?
@TomLeeman3 ай бұрын
I was thinking the exact same thing. I’m sure some of it does. They should’ve spread them out farther away from each other. I guess I could do that. I could’ve cut that sleeve too, and set one in between so that they would be farther away from each other, but that would require a little more work good luck stay cool.
@wild_cumulus_cloud3 ай бұрын
@@TomLeemanif you put it on a vertical window, put hot side on top and cold on bottom. Hot air rises and cold air sinks.

This is exactly what I did! Just picked mine up at Big 5 for $250 with tax, out the door! So far I'm loving it. Room went from 86 degrees to 69....love it. @@wild_cumulus_cloud

On eBay the seller on description says work on 500 sq ft and send on different box I look in you video the original box is for 350sq ft 😅
@TomLeeman3 ай бұрын
Here’s the funny thing on the box. It does say 350 feet but I put it in my sister’s apartment which is 1200 ft.² and it kept it cool and were in Florida where it’s 90° out. I was amazed good luck stay cool thanks for watching.

Can you put the window sleeve vertically?
@TomLeeman3 ай бұрын
Yes, you can. As a matter of fact they give you extra sleeves if you’ve got a really high window so it works both horizontally and vertically. Good luck stay cool thanks for watching.

Fixing the panels on standard windows can be hassle & even require a carpenter .
@TomLeeman3 ай бұрын
Yes, and if you got Hurricane Windows, they’ve got a very deep recess that you’ve got to put something in there so that it is high enough that the collars don’t hit the window frame. Good luck on your install and thanks for watching.

What size is the coupling/adapter that fits the hose and to the machine? I have one that I think came with the unit (I borrowed from a friend) but I can't get it to slide in. It seems to be too big and wants to snap in over the "clips"

When is somebody gonna say how hot them hoses get in there it heats up the inside of the house from the the hoses
@TomLeeman2 ай бұрын
Well, the one hose is blowing hot air out because it’s a heat exchange and then the other polls the cool air in supposedly and they do get warm. You could wrap them with some insulation.
