I know how proud you must be. Our son had his heart set on being a Marine like his dad since he was 7. He went in right after graduation (like the same week lol). He just reenlisted a few months ago and turned 23 (already!) yesterday. He is overseas so we didn't get to talk except for a few texts. At least it wasn't like his 21st, the covid cruise from hell. No port calls so months at sea. Best wishes and congratulations to your family. It's going to be nerve-wracking and things will happen that will be hard to understand, but praying & staying busy helps a lot. He was our youngest so we became empty nesters so we had to find other things to do since the school activities were gone. Good luck with the parties!

When out oldest son graduated he has signed up for them Navy. He went for to be a hospital corpsman. He has to go to NC bade to rain to go over to Japan but he has to shave surgery on his leg & had to come out on Medical discharge. But we were so proud of him. Tell your son congratulations on his joining & Thank you.
