Dark Elfs rock so much. The community likes to complain about their state but I feel like they just haven’t played them lately. Their economy, units, and Black Arks are so strong you can really just do whatever you want once you get rolling. All this while not being so OP you get bored because nothing threatens you (looking at you WoC).

Well, for me personally Malekith is higher than Morathi, bc I can choose my fights, and these early game fights are pretty fun and challenging. You can fight, Valkia, Hellebron, Grombrindal or even all of them altogether

There's a mod on the workshop to give Malekith access to a similar system as yuan bo which feels appropriate to me. Morathi definitely needs access to the complete Demons of Slaanesh roster. Not for regular usage, mostly for popup armies. Hellebron needs her death night completely reworked because it's just awful, and often actively harmful to the player. Malus is fine I guess? Idk. Like his campaign isn't great but he gets so many tools as a lord that I kinda don't want him to get more. Like he's got 2 healthbars worth of max ward save and has a heal ability for his second phase. Dude is an actual bossfight. Rakarth needs access to more pokemon, more reliable ways to acquire them, and ways to buff them so they're actually useful. Krakenclaw is fine. Semi horde ship building for him would be nice. Not super necessary. Whole faction needs undercity mechanics. "pleasure cults".

what i love with rakarth is you can move anywhere with teleporters and black ark or even move back to karond kar if you hate lustria (everyone should hate lustria and lizards è_é) i think all DE campaigns are lovely (yeah i love dark elves and slaanesh, and will never get away without it !), they just all have very specific gameplay adding up to all DE gameplay, so the variety of start pos are really nice ^^ malus and rakarth swapping DLC-FLC button was always strange, having morathi/slaaneshi units in hellebron and malus DLC always felt strange too, but it ended pretty fine (both malus and rakarth got a lot of unique rites, so thats fine) the "reset points" system was the ONLY thing missing so you can finally test name of powers and skill dilemmas in the same campaign (and i freaking love the current slave mechanic, hellebron took until 4.0 to fix her gameplay and quests, now is very nice) my mainly ignored character is malekith because i just dont like the character in every ways (cant love everything ^^) since TWW3 lokhir (im a BIG sea fight lover and black ark lover :D ) is finally in hug ecompetition with morathi to be my main campaigning

I want their lords to be able to buff their specialty units as much as Lords from other factions can. The races with workshops have an advantage. The legendary lorsa should be able to stack the names of power for certain units.

Mother Ostankya is no match for Morathi. Playing a Morathi campaign right now on vh/vh and autoresolved every battle with a basic darkshards/reaper bolt throwers/some spearmen - stack. Just saying :) Rakarth is quite a hard campaign i think. I am into a Rakrath campaign right now and on turn 8 Gor-Rok, Alberic and Yuan Bo declared war on me ... IN THE SAME TURN. I mean you counter lizardmen with lotsa darkshards but Gor-Rok's Saurus are just very tanky (nearly unbreakable) but still chew through my frontline like butter. Fun sidefact: if you recruit an early black arc a lot of armies chase the admiral which leads to some funny shenanegans. Also in this campaign Wulfheart declared war on Alberic which on paper sounds questionable... but good for me. :D

the race is good but the problem is when you go for long campaign victory,and for example imrik is still alive then you need to spend 20 turns just getting to him and same goes for teclis it gets really tedious

On very hard Hellebron gets wrecked by Valkyia until she gets her manticore. Valkyia just has way too much melee for her and every time Valkyia hits it is like a truck. Until then, you aren't winning unless you get an ambush off and you got a bunch of shades. Hellebron being my favorite char in warhammer fantasy, I have played her campaign a ton. It's basically a sprint to the east to get that zone before Sigvald pops by. You want the port so you can get black arks and the main settlement so you don't have Sigvald spamming corruption or being annoying. Best way for me to do this is you immediately build a shade building using slaves in Har Ganeth. Later on you can move it, but for now use Har Ganeth. That way you get 6-8 shade before you head into Deadwood. Once you take Deadwood, you bribe Sigvald and Belakor if he shows up to a level they won't attack you then spam back west cause Valkyia has probably already crushed Ghrond and is looking at you next. If you can trick her into an ambush, then you are good. It's a slog as you got to kill her *and* the Mung, but its more annoying than hard. You might want to bonk Malekith next or he'll just gobble up territory you can use. Confederating any dark elf lord is just useless until the game is pretty much settled, so don't worry about killing him, especially if you use the defeated lord mod. From there it's all easy.
