I feel the same way, but understand that IE is still new and a lot of the usual YT'ers are still figuring out campaigns and what's changed/stayed the same. At least that's how I've looked at it. At least your not trying to find guides on Skrag like I am lol.

Made sure to attack the vamps and chaos as Drycha...now I'm allied w the Empire, Brettonia, and Lahmian Sisterhood. Been a wierd campaign: make sure to trade settlements if you're over-expanding.

I would add that looting is a bad choice because it reduces control and this also lowers your growth meaning you wont get your higher tier units as fast if you just occupied the settlement

Best guide ever, though I would point out that if you defend a settlement, you also see where the AI deployed before starting battle, so it's not really cheating here. I do sometimes get the felling that they respond to stalking units.

When on a settlement defense against the ai, you can see where they deploy before starting the battle. So they don’t cheat in that regard.

Yeah I tried as Skrag to not get in a fight with Sartosa, by not making trade deals with Tilea. I even gave her 1k gold and she still declared war on me in turn 8. Keep in mind when playing as Gelt, I was attacked by Sartosa and Skrag at the same time…the player bias is honestly a little over tweaked.

Sartosa and those wood goblins was great source of gold for me when i got heroic victory every time with an army of 4 and garrison. The lord was level 23 at the end. Still prefer not habing extra army because of upkeep

The ai doesnt cheat in sieges as you too can see them before the siege battle when defending and install instant towers to match their positions...Also, defensive alliances are not useless, for example as Empire allying yourself with Marienburg will make their weighted threat level much higher and will stop many enemies from either attacking them or declare war and be very shy troop wise nonetheless...So yeah, surprising that you play on legendary and dont know these things tbh.

good video but start build growth buildings or that whit youre looting will stagnate youre campaign (looting affect youre control, high will give +25 growth low will give you -20 growth)

After you raised the city and then occupied it, the cost of repairing the damaged buildings was more than you got from razing it to begin with. Is that always the case? Is it always better to occupy or loot & occupy than it is to raze then occupy?

i feel linke since legends stops making 10 turn guiddes people struggle so much on early game and get destroyed in mid game due to that or cant even expand early on, first 5 turns are the make or break for a good campaign

Is there a mod to remove the AI diplomatic bias ? It's absolutely ridiculous, playing as the Empire and not having expanding an inch outside of the Empire's natural borders, some factions as far as Lustria are declaring war on me as soon as they see an agent I sent as an explorer (to get new potential trade partners).
