You know, it might not be likely, but it would be a fun idea if they did a spin-off game focused on the bushwackers and jayhawkers groups during the civil war. Similar to that one game Mosby’s confederacy, but with map controls like this.

Almost like as soon as you leave a city the ai sends soldiers straight to that city you just left. Makes you have to either run circles trying to catch them or leave a little army at each spot
