Thanks for sharing these costs. I just sold my 2005 LLY Duramax Suburban for $16,000. It had 180,000 miles on it but was running great. Bought my 2005 LBZ Suburban for $23,000 recently.

Do you know what A/C head would go from the stock 1995 Dodge 12v compressor to a #8 and #10 fitting? I have a Sanden 508 compressor on my truck now with custom made hoses and I'm trying to find the right adapter head so I can reuse my a/c hoses

@@sirvelliance9332 Truth. If it isn't a 2500/HD/whatever they call it in late models chassis don't bother. A 6BT weighs literally *twice* what a 5.3 weighs.

So is this non-interlcooled? Could you do an air-water intercooler rather than having to run a front mount air-air? Other than that it looks awesome! I would like to do a 12v swap into my tahoe and also go with a 4r100 trans. Would be a chevy with a dodge engine and Ford trans haha

What torque converter did you use for the trans? Going to the diesel Im seeing it should be around 1200 stall?

My ‘97 fzj80 has a blown head gasket. What are the requirements to register it as a diesel if I convert it from it’s gas engine? I’d like to be able to legally drive it down the highway

Ive got a bombproofed 6.5 in my 98’ 3/4 ton Suburban, arp headstuds vacuum pump delete 4” turbo back straight pipe, Airdog fuel system ect.. tuned by quadstar tuning she makes 15Lbs of boost on the stock turbo with a wicked wheel ( for now ) i haul cars & various construction equipment bobcats, mini excavators across the country on a 22’ open car trailer for my hotshot business… have 284k miles and i trust er too take me across the country any day i please! Only thing with 6.5s is you have too fix/ remove some of GMs factory flaws and with any diesel Tuning is a must

I suppose if it's a Montana truck a charge air cooler isn't as important as if it were a Florida truck.

Awesome. I’m saving up for a Cummins swap into a suburban. One issue I have though is with the website. Trying to source parts and prepare a build list, but I can find any of the needed items on your website last time I looked a month ago. Has it been fixed or am I missing something?

6.5 was junk. Now, put that motor into an 03 Silverado 2500HD and ditch the 8.1. How do they do bolting up to an Allison 5 speed?? Can you use cruise control??

A little less than $15,000 , still about $50,000 less than a new Suburban. My kind of recycling. Have you ever done the Cummins/88-98 GM conversion with a solid axle swap? Also, is a 1500’s frame strong enough for the Cummins with a NV5600 and a Dana 60 on Deaver leaf springs ? By the way that sure don’t look like a 92 Dodge which was The OBS 1st Gen Cummins, it looks to me like a Gen2 94-2002.
