PLEASE READ FIRST!!!! I noticed you said in your video your turning It off for safety reasons. I was assuming since you made a repairing video that you had some experience in electronics. That timer is only a timer. UNPLUG the washer and let it sit for a couple hours before touching the capacitor.The capacitor is a black cylinder in the back. Should be hooked up to 2 or even 4 wires. it's held in with 2 screws. It's kinda like a battery but Unlike the battery, a capacitor is a circuit component that temporarily stores electrical energy through distributing charged particles on (generally two) plates to create a potential difference. A capacitor can take a shorter time than a battery to charge up and it can release all the energy very quickly. So it can hurt you or kill you. Unplug it and let it sit for awhile then your fine to do what ever you want to it

Try taking the panel with all the knobs off. Underneath there is lever that connects and pulls away each time you open the spinner lid. When you shut the spinner lid the metal piece inside should connect to another metal piece that allows it to spin. Mine stopped connecting so I took it apart and bent up the metal lever a tiny bit, it connects now and spins when I shut the lid.

Hi, thanks for your advice, actually I knew (in my other videos) about that part you were referring to, unfortunately it's another part(s) that I could not fix nor have the replacement part that I could replace,...the washer still works fine, just no spinner for me...thanks again...

@@msibanker after leaving this comment my spinner stopped working! so the spin cycle works, but the water will not go out, I have to set the machine to drain, and then turn on the spin cycle .. do you know what the problem could be? Thanks!

@@Melli6000 what you described, sounds like some small fabrics, hair and other small stuff clogged the water pipe, you will need to open the back cover, unscrew the water pipe & clean /remove the small stuff that clogged inside,....hope it helps,...

I literally just fixed mine. It's a small piece that connects the wire for the dryer . I took my apart and if the washer stops just put the belt back on. The wires that connects the dryer comes with a white plastic cover that protects the battery 🔋 its clear . Not sure iF it's a battery but i know it's the same set up with ac units . ( metal piece , wire, and foam or plastic to protect it from getting wet. I blew the dust off. Had to do that for my ac a few years back. Then I connected my belt to the washer. . This is my healing channel so I will do it from another one and just come under the comment section and add a video. By the way the wires are wrapped in plastic covering too.

I spent two weeks struggling with this issue. Having now fixed it, I feel like an idiot. I pulled the spin tank to the side and discovered a lost sock stuck in the drain for the spinner. Once I removed it and allowed the water to drain not only did the drain speed increase but the spin motor works at full speed

It happened to me like that before, and I was laughing so hard at myself, i knew how that feel, ..haha

My simple fix when this happens is to keep the clothes in the spinner basket with the knob going, open the lids, then manually turn the basket clockwise a few times, then close the lids. I repeat this if it doesn't work the first time.

Thanks for yr reply, tried your suggestion with 10 attempts (each attempts turned 20 times, when clockwise did'nt work, switched to anti clockwise, ) still no good...any other suggestions...my hands are tired now....haha...

God bless you, you beautiful internet stranger. i was having an issue and that fixed it. The spinner got stuck and manually spinning it loosened it up and it works fine now.

No, I exchanged several emails with Costway & they kept saying without the original order# they would not offer any service; while most of the cases are related with the switch (it's the contact part of the copper) , not in my case, no parts available nor the labor cost will be cheap,...the washer side is still function, so I keep using it until it's dead before I buy another one. Sorry can't help you much,...thx for the message...

I am having the same issue with my Zeny portable washer spin dryer combo. I have not been able to find a solution. I think the timer is not actually turning on the motor for the spin dryer but I cannot find an answer to fix this

In your case, seems like it is related with the power/ electricity issue, either the contact part (copper metal piece) couldn't connect; or the fuse is ON; or the spinner motor has dead, ...Sorry can help much...

Mine ended up having socks that fell between the spinner and wall. Had to tip it upside down to get them out.

Got mine today and it’s just happened to me I think it overheated cuz it smells like that but I’m not the brightest so I couldn’t tell yah I’m contacting them back cuz I have a warranty luckily 😭

My problem is the washer side it’s spins when I move it but it don’t work when I just put it on it acts like it’s stuck or something idk how to fixed it

That sounds like the belt is off or loose. It should be obvious when you look inside the back panel.

Hello Mandy, you may want to open the back panel, and check if the motor is ok or not, also check the fuse part, the fuse part may be the one which disconnected the power....hope it helps...thanks for stopping by...

I have the same exact washer my problem was a bolt that is connected to the bottom of the rod that rotates the drum had came off I just put it back on and it works perfectly but now the washing side agitator is not working you can hear the motor click on and it tries to agitate so anybody know how to fix that issue before I take it apart tonight to try to fix it please comment thank you

Hello Maranda, can you open the back panel of the machine and see if there is any disconnection of plugs, one time it happened to me like that, not sure why but may be as the thing rotates while washing, somehow it hit something loosen already,...without able to see inside it is different for me to say for sure,....but from what you told me, it has power so electrical is not the problem.
