Giantex Portable Washer 3 1/2 years in the Agitator stop working so well. I show you how to fix it

I uploaded my review when I first bought the washer Nov 2017. It's under the channel 1soulsurfer. I can't remember my password so I couldn't add this video lol Anyway after 3 1/2 years of excellent experience I noticed the agitation wasn't working so great after I washed some floor rugs. In the spin cycle if the clothes that you are washing aren't perfectly balanced the machine will jump around. Well yeah, the rugs were off balance and the machine shook violently. I imagine loosening the bolts that hold the motor. I couldn't find any video's of a fix for the lack of agitation. So I made this one. I really love this washer. It's been great for the last 3 1/2 years for me. I got it on Amazon for only 159.00. Now I see they are asking 259.00. Still well worth it. Hope this video helped someone. The drive hole on the plastic agitator/washplate got stripped so it barely rotated. It took JB Weld to reinforce and shrink the hole to again fit the driveshaft. The plastic wash plate center hub isn't strong enough to deal with the torque of the driveshaft. It seems designed to agitate only water, not heavy clothes, so underload the washer. There are absolutely no spare/repair parts available anywhere.

Thanks I thought it was a goner. I was like no I broke it. to move the bolt I had to loosen it, then center it with my finger then hold the bar to keep the belt taught with my elbow, while holding it centered then tighten the bolts. I’d gladly do it again to keep the washer, it works so well. Anyways without your video I wouldn’t know what to do thanks it agitates even better than before ☺️

You can get an adapter to fit you sink faucet that lets you hook up a garden hose. We had to get one years ago to be able to fill a water bed with a garden hose. Hope this helps !

I had to get an adaptor that I put on my kitchen sink , thus allowing me to connect the washer to my sink with the hose.

Im not sure if mine is the same brand as yours, but the agitator stopped working. It makes the sound but, after looking inside, it seems like its stuck. Gonna try your method tonight. Hope it works! Thanks for sharing!

Hey so I have a nictemaw and unfortunately mine isn’t really spinning the clothes to wash them but drains them really well so I don’t know what’s wrong with it I checked the pulley and it seems in good shape. It may be my agitator too I just wouldn’t really know what it looks like

Hi, I have been using same machine for 4 or 5 months and the issue is the washing is not working. I mean when I put on washing and press start, it doesn't work all I hear is voice like bizzz, ? I would appreciate your response

You can buy the adapter to hook up to your sink.

I have the same machine & I was doing that when the machine was in the kitchen. Because the faucet wouldn't let me fill the machine from the faucet!! Moved it to the bathroom & connected it to the faucet there. Problem solved!!

Off balance is usually cause by stacking clothes on one side so to speak. Try putting them in evenly all around. See how that works.
