I visited Ireland for work in 2003- we did a drive from Dublin to Belfast as we were were working in various hospitals doing research into cardiac illness in babies. I loved Ireland and was so warmly welcomed, this brought back some happy memories. I recall it rained a lot lol

Belfast was beautiful thank you for taking us along. Love a good Tim Hortons. My brother just send a tub of French vanilla cappuccino home with my parents following their recent visit. as a Belfast girl myself I'm so glad you enjoyed your weekend I've not even been to the market yet myself lol, I was lucky enough to have a small speaking roll in Line of Duty,amongst lots of other tv and film rolls,Belfast is huge now for location xo

Thanks for the outing. Enjoyed all the footage at the Christmas Market, Titanic Museum and around the town. Thaw puff pastry in the refrigerator the night before then place on counter 30 min while you make filling. Mince a few slices of apples for a base to lay your pretty sliced apples. Allow your apples, sugar and syrup to macerate in mixing bowl a little while. After you place apples on pastry brush a little milk or cream on edges to give it that golden brown crust. You may want to cook at a higher temperature for a good puff. Also lightly score edges of pastry with a knife before you add cream and it should raise higher. Ice cream for sure.

Hi Catherine - great cozy vlog, Belfast looks lovely with all the decorations and lights. FYI Tim Hortons is Canadian company but I believe it’s a joint venture with American interests now. Tim Horton was a Canadian hockey player, started out playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, opened his first Tim Horton Doughnut Shop in Hamilton Ontario in 1964, anyways just thought you might be interested in that little bit of info. I loved this vlog! How lovely a trip. I would've waited until dark also, there's something about twinkie lights at night that give me joy. The Titanic museum looked wonderful. We have one 2 hours away from were I live in Missouri, US. When you get your ticket to go in, it has a name and all their details of an actual person who was on the Titanic . As you go through the museum you may find hints about your person and at the end you find out if they survived or not. It made it more emotional/bittersweet. An appearance by Toffee is always welcome: ). Here's to Christmas market trips, friends, apple tarts (plain or with ice cream is how I roll lol ), and hot tea on a dreary winter day.

Yep the Primark building is an old bank building and reopened after the fire last month. It's always busy, even before the fire. I was in a couple of weeks ago and the refurb is great. Haven't been to the market this year (only live about 20min away) but might get a scoot in before it closes. 💕

Wow, reminds me of Germany back in 1993 at all the Kris kindle market! How beautiful are those lights and just the scenery?! So, did you have some hot Mullen wine? That’s not what they call it in Germany but man they had it all over the market and you could shop and drink your hot wine and stay warm and shop and drink more wine lol Borelli that is absolutely beautiful Belfast.
