Incredible park! That wooden coaster was unbelievable. I also loved the wild mouse reverse free fall. And clever idea having the Rust Devil dueling coaster being just one coaster where you ride both sides! As far as scenery and structure I really love your terracing and leveling, makes every nook and cranny very interesting. Also appreciate building with the default scenery. That’s what I’ve always done and believe it has a lot more possibilities than most people think.

Wow dude, it's an amazing park. Making this is one challenge but committing yourself towards making this full park over such a long time is one more bigger challenge. Very planned and interesting park with the involvement of many features of the game. Really great mate. I was here because of the nostalgia but man, you are making me want to play this game now :D. I think tonight I will fire up my PC and install this game again.

I've finally made the progression to Planet Coaster, but RCT3 still has it's charm. I'm typically not in to retro gaming after playing newer versions of things, but RCT3 is the exception. It's still a quality game.
@immersiveroleplayguild73874 жыл бұрын
For sure, I like the simplicity of RCT3 and that it still uses the grid system of RCT 1/2 as limitations can be sometimes helpful, not overdoing things spending 2h on a toilet etc. which can easily happen in Planet Coaster. I did enjoy Planet Coaster but waiting right now for number 2 that will hopefully feature some brushes and other time-saving tools. Until then I'm back playing RCT 1/2/3 and Parkitect.
@MotoAtheist4 жыл бұрын
@@immersiveroleplayguild7387 Yes, I think complexity is where Planet Coaster kind of failed a bit. They didn't fine tune things properly so it's a bit cumbersome going on and off grid. Everything should be allowed on or off grid easily and the grid needs to be easily adjustable to smaller increments. They also need to allow all the build pieces to be sized up and down. I haven't played in a while, but I remember having quite a request list. Basically just a lot of fine tuning is needed. So far PC2 is just rumors. I know they used a different engine for Planet Zoo, so it seems reasonable they would try and make PC2 with that new engine.

Amazing park!! I used a stopwatch on the large wooden coaster & the duration around the entire track was 6 minutes. If that coaster was built today, it would've beaten the record for longest Rollercoaster by 2 minutes; The Beast (Kings Island) currently has the record at 4 minutes.

Yeah, but mostly because of long pauses not playing the game for like 6 months. For more performance try to build in pause mode with no guests or staff. Don't detail an area too much and use more simple buildings. You can always detail them later. Still RCT3 engine has its limitations and even my powerful PC got around 15-30fps in the end here. I have earlier screenshots: imgur.com/oiaUQWD imgur.com/a/bsUJP imgur.com/a/tUHN2 imgur.com/a/2PthD imgur.com/a/TbajT imgur.com/gallery/12lBlXK i.redd.it/o4myzr8jqr811.jpg i.redd.it/djy1scvm70h31.jpg i.redd.it/czov6too89i31.jpg and some more videos on the channel kzbin.info/aero/PLlL7MJ8G0nIdDbsVyl6acCN2_RkL7Pzt3 but these are mostly early phase, not much laster on. @immersiveroleplayguild73874 жыл бұрын
A mix of just free building, looking at real life pictures, own experiences in parks, thinking of how that could look cool in RCT3. Landscaping the whole park first, then mould everything in/around it. It's step by step for each area and those areas are roughly eyeballed before, then again I build and fill around it. Many things were also rebuilt 3 or 4 times like the wooden coaster. Because building other rides around it may present a cool interaction between those. Waeving paths through all this und using a lot of height differences (terraces/levels) then it's filling up the spaces with foliage. Done!

@immersiveroleplayguild7387 Жыл бұрын
Start with landscaping, think about where your dream park would be situated in the real world. Look at images of those places to help recreating it ingame. Then mould your rides, paths and buildings roughly into the park terrain, like a sketch. Once you're happy with the overall layout, build every area to you liking. A full park will take a long time and to get everything looking cohesive throughout is a challenge, especially while getting better at building with every minute spent on the build. You can always rebuild areas though. Build in pause mode and closed park for more fps. Make separate savegames for every 1-2 hours of progress. Renaming a Peep to "M Brookes" will make it possible to place walls and scenery items on path edges. "AttractionSceneryAllowTerrainIntersect 1", "AttractionSceneryAllowSceneryIntersect 1" and "TrackAllowSameTrackIntersect 1" in the options.txt will make it possible to place stuff almost everywhere without the collision detection.
