Hello Harry, a few weeks ago I programmed my Pilot-RC Pitts Challenger 87" in the same way as you described in the second option. Only difference Aileron1 is left bottom, 2 right bottom, 3 left top, 4 right top. While S1, S2, S3, S4 can be specified with positive/negative values, I don't see a "problem" in doing so. Or is there another reason why "lower Aileron numbers" should go left and "higher Aileron numbers" at right hand side?? Thanks for your reply, regards from The Netherlands, Rick

If you look at the diagram in Basic Settings, it shows numbered ailerons going from left to right. It does the same with multiple flaps, elevators, rudders. The software expects servos to go from left to right. In many cases you can over-ride it because many of the menus allow you to set S1-S4 independently, but somewhere with more esoteric programming/mixing it may cause a problem, so it is safer to just always stick to the rule. Then there is no risk of running into a problem.

@@cotswoldpilot Thanks for your prompt reply Harry, I appreciate. And I will review my Pitts aileron arrangement. 👍🏽

@@beyondxtream4056 if it is working, I would leave it as it is. Just be aware that if in future you try some mixing to ailerons that does weird things, it might be the left right rule causing the problem
