Ah a visit from Huitizilopochtil, it's just like a fairytale forest. Absolutely gorgeous all the way around, we have Smoketrees native here in Oklahoma but not the purple variety and they do love the understory partial shade is ideal for them. ❤️‍🔥🌿🌹

I get the Cottonwood snow in June as well here in the PNW. Spend much of July pulling the seedling from my front border! They are prolific. Thanks for the tour, your garden is inspiring and has given me some great ideas for my share and sunny areas. Take care!

Check out the Persian lilacs. Gorgeous and the smell is so nice. After about 4 or 5 years they get nice and large, they'd make a great trellis for your doorway.

Wow!! This was my very first tour with you and I’m watching in bed and I wanted to see right to the end because it’s all so stunningly beautiful - but I only just looked up and discovered it’s 2:30am!! You have a really gorgeous garden!!! I’m British and we’re always so envious of all the space you have, all the land that comes with your properties! Your garden with all its woodland and wildlife is everything I would love, whereas I’ve had to downsize to a tiny little single storey bungalow and although I’ve got to start from scratch thank goodness I have a tiny piece of garden on three sides of my house. So I’m just starting with the border, creating a loose, diverse hedgerow for all the birds, my visiting hedgehogs and other wildlife, encouraging as many bees, butterflies, moths and other pollinators as I can. I’m creating a planting plan full of native wildflower species - plus a few totally selfish varieties just for me, like the tulips, roses, peonies and dahlias, many of which don’t do much for wildlife but their scent or colour or cutting value is irresistible! It’s really exciting - so looking at yours which sounds like it’s mostly 2-3 years old, it’s even more exciting! It’s a huge amount of work to do such a long tour so thankyou very much, you definitely have a new fan over here … Ruthie 😁👏🏻🦋🌿🪴🌷🌸🌹🌺🪻💖🤗🥰🐾🐾 xxx PS. I really LOVED your Garden Tour🌹🌺🌻🌼🥒🥬🍓🧄🫑🍅!! You and Bert have real green thumbs💚💚💚💚💚👍👍!!!! I know that my Late Grandfather on my Mom's side of the Family also had a real green thumb and he grew the best tasting 🍅🥰Big Boy Tomatoes🍅🥰 ever, among other flowers!!!! Also, my Late Grandfather had wild mint growing on his property and my Late Dad would pick them, take them back to our home and dry them to make iced mint tea in the Summertime!!! As for your Garden I so LOVE all the purple flowers💜💜💜💜💜 and your roses🌺🌺💖💖💖💖💖!! I think it is so awesome that the Hummingbirds💙💜 as well as the Butterflies🦋🦋 are attracted to the Foxgloves💜💜 which are pretty just by themselves!!!! And my Mom said that when she was a Child, my Late Grandfather planted a "butterfly bush🦋🦋"!!! I so LOVE your veggie garden🍅🥒🥬 too!! My Boyfriend's Dad had a small garden and his Kale🥬 was eaten entirely by the groundhogs🙄🙄!!! I was wondering, as for your Quince flowers, have you ever considered making Quince jam? My Late Great- Grandma LOVED Quince jam🥰🥰!! And I would LOVE to have Bert's recipe for the Ethiopian Cabbage for my Boyfriend because my Boyfriend gets an Ethiopian dip from Whole Foods that he really likes to enjoy🤗🤗!!! And like in your Reiki videos, I so LOVE your Koshi Chimes!!! And my Late Grandfather had chimes too!! Anna, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful garden with all of us🤗🤗💚💚💚💚💚!!! I am so happy that you have such a lovely property and home😃😃💚💚💚💚💚!!! Now my new Apartment in the city near the suburbs faces a wooded area and out my window I see birds and deer!!! I have found (to my cost) that junipers don't like a lot of water. They usually prefer what most would consider drought conditions, so if you were getting a lot of rain - and there isn't great drainage - then your junipers won't be happy. Those are the biggest bellflowers I have ever seen - very impressive specimens. I also envy your beech tree - all the ones in northern Ohio where I am are currently dying from beech leaf disease. 😞
