Thank you for sharing. As a kid my mother was giving me a Tsp of honey for cough. I did the same later for my daughter but your recipe sounds delish and I know all these ingredients help you when you have a cold. Need to try it.

You are so welcome Diane, It is wonderful that you have all of the ingredients ready for when they're needed. I'm sure I bought my elderberry plants off ebay and now would be the time to get one to arrive by mail. If you buy one it will grow fast and youll be able to take cuttings next spring for more fast growing plants, if you wanted more. They are very easy to strike.

I do the same thing, but instead of thyme I use ginger. I love thyme, so I'll try that out next.

Ginger is good for an upset tummy, so is another wonderful alternative when the need arises.
