Thanks. I spotted it the moment I walked into the sports arena where the sale was held. Even 30 meters away I could see that "there is a Comet on the floor", and the guy in charge of selling electronics said "this one has your name all over it" - he knows about my YT channel 🙂 I was actually surprised that nobody had bought it because it was a two day sale and I was there two hours before it should close on day two. Maybe it's because it has a weird smell of cigaret smoke and mold. If I get it working I will have to do a thorough cleaning.

We are sort of in the organ-synthesizer-mongrel territory. It has several buttons that says VCF, VCA, Timing, and other phrases that I consider synthesizersh. The problem is that there are very few videos that showcases the Comet. I don't think that there was many of them made, probably because they seemed to have a quite short production run. The other "space age organs" from Wersi was made between 1976 and 1983, while the Comet was only made in 1982 and 1983.

That's why I prefer Elka and Technics: They have this synthi quality that you will not find on - dare I say it - a Hammond.

That small "childish" keyboard is that Music Time Keyboard 270. I still think it's a pretty cute keyboard. (i still prefer the Hohner above the Music Time keyboards)

3:46 i think you can use bass pedals for an organ you scrapped earlier & you also can try to craft the legs for your new Wersi.

Yes, the bass pedals are the least of my worries now since they are usually just switches.

Well, in case of a Wersi, it also could mean, that the one who build it at home, just forgot to attach the screws in the end 😉

Well, yes. I have seen various projects that worked as such but the builder has never come to the point of actually finishing it completely. But I checked, and there are marks in the plywood where the screw used to be, so they have been there at some point.

It was actually KZbin that suggested it to me. Some years ago I played 'Haut le Mains' by Ottawan on my Elka X-30. When I present music I prefer to write the original title - if I can find it, and I knew that "Hands up (give me your heart)" was originally released in French before it was made in an English version. I therefore searched for the original version and then KZbin suggested other French disco-ish songs to me, and since I am always on the hunt for new music to play, I tried listening to some of them, and I liked "Pour un train qui part" and believed it would be good on the Technics organ. So I learned to play it and made a recording.
