Wong getting the title due to (presumably) being the most senior or skilled Kamar-Taj magic practitioner left after The Snap happened is the "official" stance...but between how Strange defeated Dormammu and his decision to hand over the Time Stone to Thanos - along with later decisions like using the Runes of Kaufkal (sp?) to help Peter Parker out with his costume identity getting leaked by Mysterio - I can see the elders of Karmar-Taj using a technicality to strip Strange of the Sorcerer Supreme title because they were far less confident in Strange being the right choice than The Ancient One was.

I have that theory too. I think she knew her price though. I'm thinking Mephisto asked for her 1st born in exchange for the Darkhold. Not having a child at the time and probably not wanting one...she was like sure. And then Mephisto put a piece of himself in Agatha and sent her on his way. Nicholas is born and it took maybe 5/6 years before Mephisto collected. By then...she was in love with her child and had she known she would feel for a child like this she never would have sacrificed him for the Darkhold. In this show, she clearly regrets doing that.

It’s interesting how even though Agatha is supposedly free from the Hex, each trial seems to be modeled after a tv show or genre, such as Big Little Lies or the upcoming Excorcist one. I wonder whether the Road is modeling itself after the Hex, or if Agatha is still viewing her journey down the road with that tv lens on. Not to mention their clothes literally change episode to episode, just like with Wandavision

I have been watching Erick Voss since as long as I can remember, absolutely love your content. A question I have been thinking of is, Agatha goes on in 'Agatha All Along and states "I can only take your magic if you blast me with it" but it seems like this is someting only she can do, is this because of her interations with the darkhold and her knowledge of power. But also this is something the Wanda did to her in WandaVision. So did Wanda get more powerful due to her taking Agatha's power besides her being the Scarlet Witch. And also, in the second episode of AAL, she attempts to provoke the witches to blast her in order to take their powers but can she still do this without having her magic? Also now that Wanda is "Dead" shouldn't Agatha get her powers back and the fact that she hasn't will that point towards the fact that Wanda is infact NOT dead. Also, long comment, my apologies, but, If Agatha got her magic back, will Wanda lose the Power that she took from Agatha?

I'm not even sure Agatha was the villain in WandaVision. Her main characteristic is selfishness, with a very healthy instinct for self preservation, and is doesn't hesitate to go to extremes sometimes, but other than Sparky (who we don't know was a real dog or one Wanda created for the "show"), who has Agatha actually hurt that wasn't actively trying to hurt her first? I think sometimes she's playing into a reputation that was earned due to misfortune and not intention.

⁠@@mildhoof To be a villain one must have villainous intent, and Wanda did not willfully mean to cause harm to the citizens of Westview when she accidentally created the hex and consequently trapped them in her spell. The show heavily implies she herself was blinded by her own spell and was for all intents and purposes trapped within it too. It isn’t until outside forces interfere with her spell that Wanda becomes more lucid about her actions, but we learn later that she maintained the spell because she believed she was protecting the Westview citizens and giving them a better life. Upon learning she was harming them, she let them free. Notably, Agatha was the only person who willfully manipulated and forcefully subjected another (Ralph) to act as her agent. In the context of the show, Wanda is the anti-hero, and Agatha is definitely the villain. Wanda redeems herself by the show’s end by holding herself accountable, letting the citizens free and leaving their memories intact, and vowing she will learn how to control her power. However, she is most definitely the villain in MoM because, despite Agatha’s warnings, she willingly taps into dark magic for her own selfish purposes rather than attempting to reform herself, and subsequently goes on a rampage hurting people for her own gain.

I think either they got Sharon's hair while Agatha was hallucinating or it was just a production error. The potion wouldn't have turned the correct color if they were missing an ingredient, but even if it did at the very least it just wouldn't have worked for Sharon. When they give her the antidote, you see her wake up and start moving before they go into the oven. I think she died for a different reason. Maybe because she wasn't a true witch, or possibly because she drank two glasses of poison, she needed two shots of antidote to be fully healed...

If you look at the order they went into the oven and the order they fell down the slide you see Sharon go in then Teen after her, but you don't see Sharon fall down the slide. And Teen is the one who announces she's dead. He was sus the whole episode.

My theory, careful of unintended spoilers: Given the D3 performance of the Ballad of the Witches’ Road, I think Rio was there the night that the witches sang the ballad, and satisfied the green witch element at the very end. We see Aubrey Plaza sing the last 2 lines at the D3 performance. Maybe that’s how she ends up on the road. But I also like the idea of the coven burying Mrs. Hart, and Rio springs up out of the grave. Either way, I think we’ll get an answer soon enough.

I think Agatha will become a main villain when she realizes teen is not her son after she (and we) were given so many clues that he was. Maybe she learns he is the reincarnated son of a powerful witch and it gives her hope that is then shattered when it is revealed to be Wanda’s kid, making Agatha hate her even more and with a new fuel for her rage she becomes a more powerful villain.

I think she’s had that Darkhold since 1693 at minimum, and Wanda was only able to destroy it by putting Agatha in spell. Rio couldn’t sense it as it was blinded by both Agatha’s and Wanda’s individual spells.

After watching the break room and new Rockstars channel for quite some time now, I will say that Disney and Marvel properties should be paying you guys for keeping their franchise still alive in such a time where the Marvel universe doesn’t look too bright and new and shiny toy vibes… I will say you guys help me stay super engaged with the show. I’m pretty fascinated by the coincidental things you start to see going back and rewatching Wandavison for the unexplained…. A black heart on the calendar… the shot of Sharon drinking wine at Wanda’s before saying those words about her husband… Mr Harts disappearance… then you look at the scene where Dotty (or Sara proctor cuts her hand just like teen for the potion, there was no answer to the grim reaper helmet in the floor of her home and going back to Bev and it being all for the children…. Vision suddenly getting drunk, Fred and Linda… the stork in the street is the same as the one on the beach house wall… And Agatha’s discussion with Herb cutting the wall takes a new light too. I wonder if anyone was who they seem in the illusion… or if there was a coven of witches present… could Wanda have been part of the last time Agatha walked the road in some way…? I dunno they could be red herrings but there are sooo many coincidental things… I wonder if anyone says Liiliths random comments…

Wanda was using the Darkhold to find some way of reuniting with her boys. It's entirely possible that she succeeded in bringing them back without realizing it. There's often a cost to black magic. Bringing them back, but not to herself, is a proper devil's bargain, especially if the boys were useful to the Darkhold or its author. If Teen is tied to the Darkhold, he could also be tied to Cthon. That could be who is manipulating him. Perhaps Walking the Witches Road is the only way Cthon can restore his works.

Her plan was to provoke them to attack her, take their power, then confront the Salem Seven and steal theirs. That's why she was so sloppy about who she got and didn't care that it was Sharon instead of Rio. She never planned to or expected to walk the Road. What are you guys talking about with Evan Peters? Go back and rewatch WandaVision guys. He very clearly demonstrates speedster powers. It's not ambiguous at all. What they did with Evan Peter's in WandaVision pissed a lot of fans off, and rightfully so. I'm genuinely a big fan of Jac Schaeffer. But it was an incredibly tone-deaf move to cast, possibly THE most popular movie X-Man next to Logan in the role of a dick joke. And it seemed after WandaVision that they got that message loud and clear - both from fans and many entertainment outlets. Then, instead of mercifully letting it be forgotten, they doubled down and brought him back. As if making him a tragically broken character would somehow redeem the idiocy of using him the way they did. It didn't. It pisses me off all over again. To me, WandaVision is a near perfect show that executed it's unique premise and format nearly perfectly. The only sour note being the boneheaded move to add Evan Peters as fake Pietro (Fietro). Now, thanks to passive aggressively doubling down on him, that sour note will also taint Agatha All Along. I'll never not be salty about this. It was a stupid miscalculation made worse by repeating it in AAA.

I think Agatha figured she could say the heart meant Mrs. Hart, so she did it. The road rejected Sharon because she was not meant for it or worthy of it. I think they'll be punished for not having Rio with them. I bet Rio is there following them down the road from afar like the wicked witch of the west. she'll appear randomly and scare them and leave. then at some point she'll have to help the group in some way, because her journey is a part of the road now.

I think Agatha’s “purple” is autopilot. She says in WandaVision’s Salem flashback, “I can’t cannot control it.” Maybe it’s an inborn magical ability akin to a mutant power, or maybe it’s a “no weapon formed against me shall prosper” spell/deal with unintended consequences. It was the Salem witch trials after all, I could see anyone looking for protection. Maybe that’s the dark magic she dabbled in and maybe Rio helped her with it/tricked her into it. I think the murder of her mother and that coven was not the first time she drained witches to death. Maybe that’s how she lost her son? Everyone’s running with Jennifer’s child sacrifice rhetoric, but maybe that’s not actually what happened. Maybe some altercation between mother and son occurred and she unintentionally sucked him dry. I would LOVE it if Nicholas walked in on Agatha zapping another witch and when he tried to stop his mom from committing murder, she had to watch in horror as she uncontrollably killed her kid. Whatever the case, I think she knew what would happen if she were attacked by Evanora and co and figured welp. If they’re willing to kill me for what I’ve already done, let em fry - and I get a power bonus!

You said at one point that all the characters will be the solutions to their own problems. Like, Jen was actually bound by herself, and she has to work through her trauma to get her magic back - which is what she wants from the Road. And this gave me a bit of a grim idea about Alice, who wants her mum back/learns what happened to her. What if Lorna Wu is actually dead and Alice witnessed her death, but then repressed it? Maybe she even has something to do with it, not necessarily intentionally. Then her "prize" at the end of the Road would be realizing that she knew what happened to her mum all this time.

I don't think Agatha sacrificed her child knowingly but I also don't think she did a protection spell gone wrong. I just think Mephisto or "the devil" tricked her into a deal where she didn't realize her kid was the currency. Tbh I'd rather have Agatha go anti-hero "nice" and Wanda keep being evil but I doubt they'll do that. I also don't see this show as a tool for Agatha to keep being Evil. I think she will go good but as a teacher for Teen or Wanda in magic. It feels like they are really trying to force her to make up with other witches and for them to come out this like a team or a actual coven. If she is just evil in the end it would feel disappointing to me because then she really didn't evolve as a character at all. I just think she has had to live with bad rumors about her and make that her "power" so people feared her. And I don't think she's been good but I also think she's kind of overdoing it with the "but babies tastes good" schtick.

Huge thing no one is talking about. Sharon is the only one that didn't put a hair in the potion. That potion was like iron man's suits, it's biometrics set to those who put their hair into it. When she was forced to drink, it didn't recognize her so it didn't work for her. There was 1 sec left on the clock when they forced it down her throat. Time wasn't the reason. The missing hair was.

Each word in the title is a letter of the name of the book… where evert copy was BURNT… when the book was destroyed in all UNIVERSES.

agthas line was "because the truth is to awfull.." now what her deinifintion of awfull is could be diffterent than ours. and thier is a third line between good evil and neutra just say she doesn't get involved unless it has to do with her plans. honestly the best place to go from the end of this show is agatha vs the salem seven assuming she gets her powers back. maybe even the rest of the coven ends up having to help agatha because the salem 7 see the traveled the road with agatha and see them as allies. Being as the dates on the card for dark hold were all birthdays of people involved in marvel comics or the mcu i doubt that was every name of every posesors since that book has existed since before their was life on earth.

The body that reminded Agatha of Wanda is not a representation of the Darkhold...it's a representation of Wanda. And it's destroyed. It has no more use in the MCU. Agatha doesn't need the book anyway. She just wanted it's secrets. She knows them all now

Teen was suspiciously leading them through the trial like he was setting them up. I think he's Wanda's kid getting revenge on Agatha. When he said he's pretty sure his parents are asleep it's because Vision and Wanda are un-alived. And Sharon was someone important to Agatha but she can't remember her and he took her out.

In ep 3 we saw the potential deaths of all the witches. One was drowned and Agatha would have died in labour. In this very moment each of them made a deal with Mephisto. So he bound one of them cursed the other with the knowledge of Death and uncontrollable visions and gave Agatha the Darkhold. Rio is a manifestation of death and Agatha hid from death using dark magic.

The Hectare, the Three Ladies/Witches/Fate, are prominently featured. Does that mean that three of the witches will die or only three witches will survive? So who would be the Maid, Mother and Crone? Rio, Agatha and Lilia? I'm pretty sure Jack Schaefer didn't put that in the story just to be a bit of witch trivia.

Do you think that "Sharon" is Mafisto in disguise? She would be the least suspected person. The black heart that was drawn in the trance was a direct call back to the black heart in Wandavision, and she was the one that supposedly hit the Teen. I just think "Ms. Hart" is going to come back in a big way. Also, I still think that Senor Scratchy is Nicolas Scratch under a spell and the lock of hair is needed to bring him back to human form.

I feel like Agatha is gonna end the series as more neutral Constantine type protagonist. Not a good person at all, incredibly selfish and self serving ,but sides with the heroes when its something big. As for the Nicholas Scratch/Teen connection, I think it's a red herring. They are bringing it up too much. Jennifer Kale straight saying she wouldn't recognize her own son if he arrived on her doorstep was just too on the nose.

"I refuse to believe the Darkhold is dead in every universe". Mind you this is the same MCU where they destroyed SHIELD (iconic organisation) after just appearing in 2-3 movies and on the FIRST season of the Agents of SHIELD show. So, I hope the Darkhold has actually been destroyed, so both the bad guys and the good guys that don't mind reading it to try to solve unfixable problems, will have to *work harder* in order to thrive, without the Darkhold's help.

rewatching WandaVision, Agatha very clearly says right before she gets put into Wanda's spell "You're going to need me someday" I assume that means we'll still see her. Also she's destined to destroy the universe but it's secret wars coming, Agatha never specified which universe

how would Teen have caused Sharon's death? He didn't make her drink the wine (he didn't even know what it did, otherwise he wouldn't have wanted some so badly). Also he wasn't the one who gave Sharon the potion, so wouldn't have had the chance to fake give it to her. Sharon died either because: 1. She was fed the potion too late. 2. They forgot to include her hair in the cure. Or 3. She isn't an actual Witch.

Honestly, i just believe that mephisto took nicholas from agatha. So she went crazy, kinda like wanda did, to get her kid back in which she ran into the dark hold. Later ran into the scarlet witch (wandavision) figured she could take her power and actually beat mephisto and get nicholas back. I think overall marvel kinda wants to reel her back in and make her a good person because agatha has such a connections to the avengers, the fantastic 4, and wanda in the comics. So i think she kinda needs to be a good person in order to have a role in the avengers movies coming up.Honestly, the more I think about it. I also think the teen is for sure wandas son, but I think he is an agent of mephisto. The fact that he doesn't react to the name mephisto. Like he doesn't even question who that is. I think that's pretty weird for someone who is just learning about witchery

If you rewatch the scene when they all go into the oven Teen goes in right after Sharon. Then when you watch them all fall down the slide you don't see Sharon. Then Teen is the one who notices she's un-alived. I think Sharon is someone important to Agatha and she can't remember, but Teen knows and has been trying to take her out. I think he tried to get her earlier when the ground took her Talbots bag. Teen pushed the whole trial they went through along... he sus AF.

I wonder if the reaction Agatha had to the image of the Darkhold was an indication that she may have lost her child and gotten the Darkhold, but maybe it wasn’t the trade that everyone thinks it was. Maybe what she did to get it lead to her son being taken, but it wasn’t the trade she was expecting.
