I think with regards to the hanging out with a friend 1 on 1 part, I feel it’s completely ok. Like what Nina said, you might’ve known the friend even before you even know your partner. And I’m a strong believer in protecting valuable friendships no matter what your partner feels. Getting in a relationship shouldn’t affect the friendship at all. After all, the friend has been there for you since the start. You can’t abandon him/her just because your partner doesn’t like you talking to them. It’s up to you to speak up about it. Sometimes bringing your partner into every single friend outing isn’t that healthy too as I believe you should have your own lives. Of course getting to know your friends is a good thing but if he’s coming to every outing, it kinda affects the friendship a bit because it won’t be like before? There’s exceptions to that definitely but just my take on it hahaha

If you can't share your problems with your partner, then this partner probably isn't the one for you. So you shouldn't continue hurting that person by sharing your life issues with another guy. Unless the issue u have is about your partner and you want a different opinion.

Thats why for me i will let my partner know i prefer if he does not hang out just 1 to 1 with an opposite gender for leisure purposes. If its not work related like going to meet clients etc. Unless they have been long time friends whom he has mentioned to me before then i dont mind once awhile. Just so there is no room for misunderstanding, uncertainty and i feel like you should just try not to put yourself in circumstances where "what if's" could happen. That is how i feel personally~

Imo, ultimately everything boils down to consent. If your partner is fine with your actions, it is not cheating. Thats why some people in open or polyamorous relationships are fine with their partners dating others or even being intimate with others because there is consent. Both people will then need to be aligned with their each other. It cannot be one person can then the other cannot of course.

Just to let you know, even if you have "vetted" the other opposite gender and decided they are not the type your partner likes, it's *no guarantee* that they won't cheat on you. The "vetting / sixth sense" process is the most unreliable one.

About the topic for if a girl (not hated by the GF) is dead drunk whether to get her somewhr safe. Especially if both have partners, it needs to be a 4 way convo. If in the end a decision needs to be made whether to bring her home but not sure where the girl stays, the guy at least have to have a discussion with his GF 1st. worse case, just book a hotel for the girl and leave her thr, but of coz have to inform the GF as well. who knows later bzbodies will snap pics and cause a misunderstanding
