Leroy is one of those magic in a bottle players, when he played he wasnt always the best on the pitch but it always felt special. When he left it wasnt like other transfers, its just felt wrong and kinda left a void there, really hope he comes back #CTID

Can't see it myself. Remember his last full playing season with us? He was, IIRC, in and out of the team. Plus (again, from memory), I don't think Pep was happy with the way the move to Bayern was apparently engineered by Sane and other people close to him.

TBH he should never have left, I understand he wanted more football, but he was always so good when he was being supported by the rest of the team, and now we have the new influx of players it would only raise his game...

Although he was a sulker if things didn't go his way I am sure he has matured somewhat. However just cannot see him coming back as I get the feeling he is using us and maybe Liverpool as a lever for his contract renewal at Bayern

Not so fun fact When Leroy Sané was at a club they never got past the UCL 1/4 finals. At Manchester City 16/17: RO16 vs Monaco (6-6) 17/18: Quarter Finals vs Liverpool (1-5) 18/19: Quarter Finals vs Tottenham Hotsupr (4-4) 19/20: Quarter FInals vs Lyon (1-3) When he moved to Bayern, the same thing happened there 20/21: Quarter Finals vs PSG (3-3) 21/22: Quarter FInals vs Villarreal (1-2) 22/23: Quarter Finals vs Manchester City (1-4) Not saying that I don't want him because of it. He was a great player, loved the pace he had down the wing. But at the same time, it is a worrying trend that should be looked at

With doku still young and figuring out the system and grealish so inconsistent, and those two being our only true wingers I think it checks all the boxes we need on the wing! European experience, pep tactics experience, what I could tell some more maturity, and the chance to be the guy in that starting lineup that doku and Bobb can learn from, mix that front 3 doku/grealish on the left, haaland/alvarez up front and sane on the right giving foden the opportunity to shine in the middle and give Bernardo his freedom in the middle as a free floating midfielder, with rodri and de bruyne would be a monster team killer! Please come back Sane!!!!

@@colbysprung2366Although United and Chelsea have spent almost a billion on their squads, they each already have histories that help in rising their marketing projects, and their jerseys being sold all around the world. While a club like yall, with no history whatsoever until that Arabic trillionaire took over ur miserable club, all of a sudden were able to bring multiple world-class players with insane amount of money in the same windows for nearly 8-10 years straight

@Yankydaddy91 of course it will run, man city isn't ran by pep lolol smh bro, the club has been growing to be one of the biggest projects in world football, look at Girona, owned by CFG, they in the top 3 in LA Liga, look at the Japanese club they own, look at the south American club they own, the club internationally will continue to thrive with out pep, the ground that was laid by pep is what will attract top talents, IF pep doesn't sign an extension, watch de zerbi come and manage city, im not worried about losing pep, this club is growing exponentially, as for history...bro cmon LMFAOOOO this club has been around since the late 1800s, 7 time FA cup winners since the early 1900s, 9 top flight trophies since the 30s, 8 league cups since the 70s, European cup champion in 1970, what do you mean no history!? LMFAO That's such a weak argument I'm dead bro 🤣 plus history is redundant the present and the future is what matters anyways hahahaha and to your point yes, Chelsea's and man utds success and "history" over the last 25 years is exactly what did that, and our success over the last decade is going to do the exact same thing for city, so thanks for proving a point, the two biggest clubs in the world TODAY are man city and real Madrid with bayern a close second if you take into account success, profit growth, and future projections and history doesn't play any part into that lol

His Mrs' isn't from Manchester, she's from LA and is a music artist. BUT she does love Manchester(weird ino, especially someone from one of the most sort after places) and attends a lot more city games than you'd expect.

I’d love him to come back, but has pep ever brought back a player who wanted to leave? Plus Doku plays in his position and he doesn’t seem to require the constant ego massaging Sane did

Pretty ambivalent to his return, was really sad to see him go, can't think that it isn't an attempt for him to use the club again. When you combine the fact he has been somewhat toxic with the club in the past an Bayern Munich are just about the worst club in the world to deal with, the negatives seem to far outweigh the positives. Falls into the Ferran Torres of players, really good player, but too much baggage, wish them both well but as one of the best clubs in the world we don't need players that don't want to be here, even at their very best.

Bayern have been tools on a regular basis... and don't forget one of our run_ins included I'm sure totally coincidentally Der Spiegel taking an interest in the club and their purchasing documents that had been obtained in a questionable manner.
