Teamwork doesn't just mean combo jutsu like a rasenshurikenamaterasu, Hidan and Kakuzu were a pretty good team which is why Shkkamaru planned to split them up. If they had left them together they might have lost the fight

That is true (You could also argue 7 paths of pain + Konan) The Majority weakness however of the Akatsuki is that these are all incredibly strong rogue missing-nin. Most of which had broken ties with or killed all those connected with them, so they all have this sort of solo self interested self invested mindset. They were put into 2 group cells but most Akatsuki Members operated solo. Usually with one Member fighting and the other standing back. Which means either The other partner trusted that their partner engaged in combat had enough strength to prevail; That or they literally didn't care what happened to their partner. I'd assume the latter. (usually if you don't care remotely about the person you're working with you're not gonna have a great team when push comes to shuv no matter how skilled) As far as I've seen this has usually been the case. Usually in cases where they were confronted or surrounded like in Itachi/Kisames case even then they didn't really coordinate a plan of escape. So in cases yes Hidan/Kakuzu and Itachi/Kisame make good teams based on their strength alone.. their threat comes from having to deal with what are essentially Close to or reaching (sometimes exceeding) Kage level combatants. In other words they didn't need great teamwork since they were all so individually strong. Against KSM2 Naruto tho... that's not gonna really work. You compare Akatsuki's method of solo combat to even barely cohesive unit of Sakura and Chiyo balanced their techniques to complement each other, the 5 kage, Taka, Team 7 (and many more)

But naruto before he mastered sage mode and had mastery control over 9 tails (basically before the war) can only beat some of the atkatsuki members. Keep in mind im referring to a one on one fight. I even think he is tactically very weak against deidera and sasori, who are very good long distance fighters (naruto had a big weakness against these types). I only pick naruto against kakuzu, hidan, pain (haha, because he actually pulled it off after all). Naruto would have even died to konan’s neverending paper bomb trap that she used against obito.

He knew it was coming, that's why he jumped in front of Hinata, but instead of doing the rotational defense and mildly injuring Hinata but saving all their lives in the end, he simply allowed it to go through him. Throughout the war arc there were scenes where Neji sensed a projectile and immediately did the rotational defense, it made no sense why he shouldn't have blocked it. If he had to die, he should have at least died in a honorable way, not that cheapass death.

His lightning fast speed also outclasses anything they could do so he could essentially do flicker technique rasengan barrage and that would be it. The only survivors I could see handling something of that level would be Pain, Obito and “maybe” Itachi. But once Naruto uses Kurama mode on them, it’s done

Same goes for kcm2 naruto since he extracted the 9 tails killing naruto. as for sasuke, he had limbo do the job which then again is his OP rinnegan ability. as for tobirama, he only beat him because of hashirama's sage mode and chakra receivers ( rinnegan ). if its alive madara, the akatsuki would smash him.
