I wish there was a projector out there more to appeal to people who watch movies AND game. With the new games coming out and supporting 4k 120 it makes you really wonder if size is more important than optimal performance that you’d see in todays OLED. But… as always.. awesome review!

@@nickteale7600 what are your thoughts on V6050i
@nickteale76003 жыл бұрын
@@rhythmjunction2301 I love mine. I've watched more films since I bought it than I probably have in the last year. AV Forums here in the UK have just reviewed the 7000 and compared it to the 6000/50 and said "Overall, the V7000i is an excellent UST 4K projector, but the equally good V6000/6050 makes a cheaper option at £2,999." I paid this with a 100" screen so it's a no brainer when the 7000 retails for £3499. The only things that may put people off is the chance of seeing rainbows and the border of light that spills onto the walls. When I contacted Benq they said the border is to do with the T.I. chip but I suppose a screen with a wider frame would block it if you don't buy the bundle.

This projector definitely provides a more complete package and I am considering it for my home.....bedroom TV. I am less and less impressed with Flat Panel OLED tv's and the "deep black" colors they can create because usually when it's a dark scene in the movie/show I end up seeing a reflection of myself sitting on the couch. This is one of many reasons I am leaving Flat Panel TV. The black colors may not be AS dark, but they are QUITE CLOSE ENOUGH to the OLEDS that it's insignificant. ESPECIALLY when you consider this Ultra Short Throw Projector's 120" vs a Flat Panel TV's 85" or 90" (if you wanna spend tens of thousands on a 90" image). Great video, confirms my feelings that this is the Ultra Short Throw to get to replace the Master Bedroom TV. I already have a 4K projector setup in the Living Room.

We found that alignment is the most difficult part of the installation with every single UST projector we have reviewed. Height is typically the issue. Be sure to check the manual for their recommended height and distance from the wall. If you do not have that correct, it will skew everything else.

Honestly, it’s a mindset. Normal guys can absolutely afford it. You may have to save up, be patient or even sell something that you no longer use but it’s certainly attainable for a normal guy. It also helps if you do not have any debt. Many years ago we decided to sacrifice for 6 years to pay off all of our debts. The only thing we now owe is our home.
