Beautiful restoration on the little table and picture frames. Might I suggest getting coasters with the chateau logo on them for the champagne glasses and tea and coffee cups to help folks preserve all those hard earned wood finishes you have done. The whole suite is exquisite.

Great idea. You can get lasers that burn motifs on to wood and then using Gilboys wax to finish them would be a great way to save the furniture tops. They also could be sold as souvenirs to your guests, but only your guests making them exclusive and a great reminder of their stay. As you might have guessed, I used to work in marketing and there could be other items that could be embellished with the logo such as embroidered towels and pillow slips and scatter cushions. I can see a large logo in gold thread on a couple scatter cushions on the bed. How fabulous would that look! Just a few ideas for you to consider from Neil in Australia 🇦🇺

I agree about the coasters, and not sure if condensation from the champagne bucket would affect the table which was so lovingly polished to perfection. Just worth a thought! Love watching you all put so much care into all you do!

Turned out well!!? That room is a thing of beauty! The job you’ve done is beyond imagination! Some people could rebuild and make new, but they would never be able to refinish furniture and mirrors or make curtains. You guys are the equivalent of hiring multiple experienced craftsmen all in one!! Plumbers, electricians, tilers, plasterers, painters, floor craftsmen, seamstresses, furniture and art restorers, gardeners, welders….. it’s just amazing!!

Most important for you to spend a couple of nights in the 400 suite, as close as guests would, ie using bathroom, kettle, breakfast? Use sheets and wash a few times, firstly to get rid of dressings, a term for finishes, and secondly see how quickly can turn around set of sheets! Love all the detailed work. 😎
