I would say it's better in the sense that he is finally adding some variety to his licks etc and his fluidity seems better. More technical? No. Better to listen to? IMO yes.

@@rossconi Contrary to popular belief, Yngwie Malmsteen chops are NOT required to make good music in a "pub band" that people want to listen to. In fact... that might even be a detriment. Depending how obnoxious the "shredding" gets. Some of my favorite guitarists couldn't play a shredder lead solo if their life depended on it. It's all about the funk... and I'd WAY rather hear Nile on guitar than any big "shredder." Shit, for that matter I think I'd rather hear John Denver playing guitar than a my-ass-is-made-of-gold (in my own head) wanker.

Fender needs to keep putting out all these amazing colours they have been giving us. Daphne Blue, Lace Placid, Seafoam Green, Antique White, Electric Purple and blues, Fiesta Orange. Just love what they've been doing in this area. I'm running out of walls to hang them all on, but I'm committed to adding a few more. They keep dragging me in!

Got mine today - I'm really, really impressed. I had a road worn Brad Paisley Tele before, but the "relic" job on that wasn't at all convincing, although it was a great guitar. This one really feels like an old guitar - my only "complaint" is that it would have been improved if the pickguard, controls, and pickups were similarly aged, but this is a relatively easy fix.

John Frusciante has been playing strats with 7.25 radius’s for donkeys years and that guy has never had an issue bending notes, he’s always doing it!

The frets have to be absolutely even for 7.25 to work. A lot of pro players have their fretboards reradiused then refretted

I received my Mischief Maker from a very nice DHL lady today. Box was busted up quite a bit, I was pretty worried, but then I remembered it’s a Road Worn so... luckily it was double boxed. Everything was fine. The guitar is freakin marvelous. The only 7.25 radius neck I have is on my Jagstang, and it’s pretty tiny. This neck is chunky. Love it. My only complaint is that it is missing the “limited edition” decal on the back of the headstock. Maybe it got lost during shipping to the States. Idk, but I think it is affecting my tone.

Top tip for purchasers - I found the relicing on the neck left it feeling a little too unfinished and rough, so I spent 5 minutes gently rubbing it down with some 0000 wire wool, which just took that unfinished feeling off the neck, without affecting the aesthetics in the slightest.

I am not well versed in vintage Fender stuff but did you say the neck needs to be removed to make truss rod adjustments? So, remove strings, remove neck, make small adjustment, replace neck, restring and then check to see if you have to make more adjustments, just to repeat that entire process?

I live in France. I’ve used Anderson’s a few times and they’ve been great. Sadly, the hassles of Brexit mean I won’t be using them again. Couriers are outing hefty fees on delivery and I’ve heard a lot of horror stories already. The guitars sound great though and if I’m back in the UK I’d be tempted to pop in and try one if there were any in stock. Oh, and great playing guys. Lee has come a long way with his playing and Pete was always superb!

Bridge pickup sounded like a Tele with gain on it .Bit of everything going on and sounds great but not a fan of the headstock IMO. The 7.5 is a weird one , played a Japanese Fender with 7.5 -bending for days no worries!
