Someone said ALC is the Agricultural Land Comission where the land is designated for agriculture farming and they appealed it but lost the appeal so now they have to shut down and move.

I don't know how it is in Canada, but here in the States, nothing can be done with land after old cars set and leak liquid on the ground. It will be at least 20 years if the ground test is good for anything can be done with the land.

he bought land in the agricutlural land reserve, its cheaper to buy and own cuz its meant for you know, agriculture. but ppl buy the cheap lland and enjoy the reduced taxes and carry on against the laws of the ALR, you can apply for zoning change with the commission, ALC, he did and he lost...a wrecking yard/bbody shop is apparently NOT agricultural lol
