So glad you revisited this game, I play this a lot now as it's just good fun to play, plenty of PVP especially at the docks and as a SP you have the missions for a bit of practise, I never worry about cooking the meat plenty of food/drink about and means you can ditch the shovel & lighters for more room in your quickbar food & medicine move to there will leave more room for loot on your body. update was due out before xmas with Boats but delayed it as it was not perfect. (rather wait until it works properly)

Excellent video! Always nice seeing more CCs checking out our game, and you guys did very well considering how new you all were, wasn't expecting squad wipes lol. btw, at that hard mission, its possible to get all the way on the top of that big grain silo, there is a set of stairs leading to the top with a bunch of windows, hard to see at night though. In any case, hope to see you on Deadside again soon :))

Hey dude, yeah we love the game.. honestly we hopped on thinking the boats update had dropped n spent most the time looking for a boat before realizing :P I did see the guy in the window on editing, cheeky spot lol Keep up the good work, i'll definitely be doing more videos :) As for the squad wiping, just comes naturally when you're a pvp chad like me ;)

And you know I don't blame you for thinking the boats were in already, we were originally hoping to get them complete by last November... yeah, UE4's net driver wasn't going to allow that. Unfortunately building vehicle netcode from the ground up is complicated and frustrating work. But hey, glad you enjoyed it regardless, ended up being a pretty fun vid :)

Phenomenal squad play, if you went down the hill, to your right, you would have run into "The bunker" best loot in the game!! Silencers,Augs,c4 etc.. careful though, meanest AI in them places,and many baddies.. thanks Anarchy and friends

I've been playing this a lot on Loaf's servers over the last couple months. Very fun game, and a MUCH quicker start than DayZ - you find a pistol or shotgun with ammo near you almost every time you spawn.

Suggest everyone go look up Anarchy’s reference “A Day Before” I did and thoroughly enjoy the laugh. All this game and “A Day Before” makes me realize is how lucky we are to have DayZ

@@AnarchyIHDI Yea, I agree. Over-all, Deadside is a Great relief from DayZ because of the non-monotonous grinding aspects, And at least if you get shot in Deadside you don't die immediately. I believe it's up and coming & will eventually catch up to DayZ. I'd love to see this game ported over to Unreal Engine 5, I feel like that would really put them up there In the ranks, In comparison to DayZ

@@AnarchyIHDI also If you guys are playing DS, Be wary of the travelling Convoys. If you didnt know, there's a machine gun sniper glitch with the snipers in the convoy, so they're shooting Mosin at machine gun pace with amazing accuracy.

I've invested 250+ hours in this game, and the only thing that really dissapoints me is that the dev team is sooo slow on updates. The 0.5.0 update that is supposed to add boats and other minor stuff is taking way too much, and it was promised to land on October. Game sadly gets boring after a week, as missions are easy to repeat/loot and do the cycle again even at PvP. Also, they promised to nerf the AI bots that can spot you throught bushes and vegetation at day and night without problems, also 1 shotting you with a Mosin sometimes. It's a good game but don't expect short time updates, as they to tease so much before landing even a small fix.

I've been playing star citizen, dayz and tarkov for 10 years I'm use to slow updates 😂 rather that take their time and release something that doesn't need to be hotfixed instantly

@@AnarchyIHDI not going to argue the "take the necessary time part" when games don't suffer something that is considered critical, but Deadside as you perhaps know, suffers from something related to AI bots aiming and devs have acknowledged since October last year that it's a critical aspect to fix, yet it hasn't been corrected the way it should in order to keep more players engaged, if you don't believe me, head over the steam discussion and read all the threads about the issue lol I can be patient, and I still play/stream Deadside a lot, but I can see how the playerbase is slowly going out for other games sadly. If they released a small patch that just added a xmas tree and xmas hats, why not AI fixes as well? Discord official is another way to see that they still say "it's coming soon" but have not released anything concrete apart from small clips teasing the boats and the island, but haven't adressed at all the critical thing that keeps most players off: AI super Terminator laser 1-tap aiming lol I do have patience, but I believe there is a priority to release that type of fix instead of a xmas tree in the safezones and a xmas hat...but yeah, I bet I'm "wrong" in all what I said 🤣🤷‍♂️

As a console player and lover of survival games, i think this would have excellent potential on console as well. We are very limited on solid survival games besides Ark and DayZ, and i could see Deadside being a huge hit.

I have hundreds of hours in deadside, the game could be the best of this type, if the Devs did not take so long in dropping updates, the game runs smoothly and the game machanics are well worked out, all we are as players are waiting for ls content and many adjust the the soldiers ability to shot the players from a mile away with a pistol, great game but it is losing its player base, message for any Devs reading this, more and quicker content please.

Biggest down side is the tremendous amount of cheaters

EAC & Lucas (A Deadside CM) do an excellent job cleaning the game of cheaters. So, I can confidently say that there are an extremely small number of cheaters compared to legitimate players. I think its just that some long time veterans of this game are so good, that it feels like you are fighting a cheater, when in reality its an experienced player with meta loot and great aim.

Deadside will never be great as idk Dayz. Game feels simple even tho it is pretty sick it has AI. Inventory system is outdated and small. It has only few items like few weapons or other supplies
