It's not really right to compare the 2 brothers with each other but even when you do the fact that Tobirama can still hold his own against a mangekyou Madara for a while in a serious battle though not as long as his brother, i think it's worth noting. Tobirama is a water freak and has massive reserves of chakra i'd say a bit more than a tailed beast somewhere between more than the 8 tails and a bit less than the 9 tails. His intelligence cannot be undermined as well as his combat prowess, him being in war since a child plays a huge factor in all his battles. i believe he would see the akatsuki as a threat but not to him lol. I honestly think it’s just cuz (while fatigued and trying to keep them off of his team) he lost to the gold and silver force who were 20 Elite shinobi with two 9 tails Jinchuriki (Jiraiya almost died to 4tails kid Naruto) wielding the so6p weapons that were stated to make you stronger than the 5 Kage in a data book. The 2nd had a team that consisted of Tobirama, Kagami Uchiha, an akimichi, a kunoichi who mast have been top tier to be with them, possibly another Uchiha, young (possibly prime) Hiruzen, and young Danzo… absolutely stacked, and that team looked at the Kinkaku force and said “no way we can take them” After being heavily nerfed by edo tensei, not both being in their final form, not using their weapons, without their team and getting super unlucky… they were battering an entire fleet that had a future Raikage, multiple Jonin level fighters, and multiple members from the Konoha 12 which is the most prodigious group ever. The Sanin are using team work are considered at 9x power compared to how strong they are individually and ino shika cho is considered better at teamwork than even them. THEY ARE NO JOKE. Beyond Kage level, they are Demi god level at full power.

I think he has a better chance against pain than Itachi. He’s the perfect counter for pain and way stronger than Sage Naruto. Itachi was going blow for blow with kcm naruto, who was comparable to Minato in speed, who is faster than Tobirama. And he has hacks on top of hacks on top of hacks. I think he and possibly Obito are hard counters to Tobirama. Both good fights though.

It's 2023 i hope you know that a lifetime doesn't pass in 3 days, on top of that it's been stated in the data books that tsukuyomi is unbreakable, the victim knows he's under genjutsu but can't do anything about it (just like in Kakashi's case) it's said that someone with a mangekyo can resist the tsukuyomi to some degree and it can only be broken by someone who's related to the user by blood. Tobirama CAN'T break out of it. Special Jounin actually exist in Naruto, referred to as Tokubetsu Jounin, and they are in fact weaker than true Jounin. So you probably should have compared Asuma to the true elite shinobi like Kakashi.

Being a special Jounin doesn't make you weak. Genma was taking on S Rank level Baki (the strongest in the sand) byhimself. During the series we are only shown the top of the top shinobi, and it's like people don't recognise that. Aoba has more chakra than Killer Bee and Kabuto was like "There you are, Oh Aoba too..." both Genma and Raido used to be the BODYGUARDS of Minato, the ones responsible for protecting the Yellow Flash. Anko straight up has jutsu speed compared to Pre-Sage Mode Kabuto Asuma is stated almost equals to Kakashi Choza is stated the strongest war potential of the Leaf and can keep up with the Gedo Mazo Kurenai is stated to have equal genjutsu to Itachi, the only reason itachi won was because he had a COUNTER GENJUTSU thanks to his sharingan (I could be wrong on this one). Inuzuka Tsume the strongest from the Inuzuka clan (Kiba's clan). Kiba the one who later was cutting up Giant TenTails Minions. Hayate (chunin exams) Kabuto thought he was strong enough to be brought back with the Edo Tensei. This are the ones I can think about, people think that this are like mid tier jonin but all of them have insane feats compared to a "regular Jonin" like Koketsu.

Tobirama could beat everyone up to Kisame then he loses. He doesn’t beat the top 4. (Kisame, Nagato, Obito, Itachi) Kisame is stronger, way better Chakra pool and is the better water style user. Nagato has dojutsu and is simply put waay more versatile than him. Nothing he could do would be of use Obito has sharingan and kamui and hashirama cells .tobirama has no counters Itachi is Itachi

I think tobirama would clap kisame, yes kisame has better waterstyle feat, but tobirama is not leagues behind,plus tobirama is faster and smarter than kisame, i can see tobirama letting kisame think he gets the win then tobirama just snipe him with a marker he placed on him before, when minato is famous for ftg kisame would expect it from minato, but he would not expect it from tobirama, and i doubt hes gonna get any chakra from tobirama to amp his samehada fusion, i think tobirama got the win against kisame. as for itachi i think it can go either way, yes itachi is crazy has all this op scaling, speed scaling high, powerful, but if you look at tobirama hes a direct counter to uchiha, uchiha has firestyle, tobirama is water style master, he has the darkness genjutsu for the sharingan, and for the perception of the sharingan, tobirama has FTG, so while i think it can go either eay, if itachi wins its not gonna be a stomp plus tobirama has way more chakra. As for pain, it depends on how good tobirama is at ftg, but as for obito i think tobirama loses that( he might lose to pain as well mind you, just think he stands a better time against pain than obito, never heard tobirama ever fought a teleporter he might be fast enough to work out kamui and still lose).

Sorry but alive tobirama has no ap to beat kisame with his regeneration. Tobirama could only beat kisame without samehada, and even then it’d be very hard for him to win. Also, sasori is above sannin level since he should be in the same tier as hanzo, but tobirama should still win.
