It’s true. This pod isn’t as preoccupied with England, England, England as the others 👍

Stuart Barnes talks sense. The RFU made a huge error appointing Borthwick as head coach. He’s a good forwards coach. But copy and pasting a game plan from his Leicester team onto the international stage was never going to work.

Haha Barnes literally knows nothing and is always wrong and for some reason hates England. I've backed Borthwick all the way and was vindicated today.

Systemisation of team development versus ad hoc selection on form is the challenge. With the ad hoc approach it is difficult to grow a a modern team where you can with move players in and out with minimal effect on team performance.

Wales are not gonna win against France. Wales played out of their skins against Ireland and France are gonna hammer them.

Don't bet on it, Wales scored 4 tries in Paris last year, during a bad period, traditionally Wales finish strong.

@@spud7823Traditionaly, yes, in French rugbyspeak, there is the "dernier quart d'heure gallois" = the last 15 minutes for the Welsh. But for this match, the French bench made the difference; there are a lot more players in France than in Wales, and this was also showing in the U20 match. The Welsh style of play is very well considered in the French rugby community.

@jean-pascalesparceil90086 ай бұрын
@@spud7823Yes but good exit is easier if your pack is dominant. Currently at the top 10 international level, a squad needs more than two packs (in case of injuries and cards) with players in top shape. England, France and Ireland can have this number, Scotland, Wales and Italy rather not.

In short, no. France have some issues, but they will beat Wales comfortably.
