no, im pretty sure it happens from trying to move your arms like this, when it hits one of the walls while your moving it would make it shake and swing. the only technique is being able to hold his grip, and lots of pullups.

Yes, the swinging is part of the trick. Notice his hands almost always move with the direction of the swing, so that momentum can be capitalized upon.
