I own YMAX and have been very happy with it after first being disappointed about it during the summer. There is no better dividend stock/ETF anywhere outside of YieldMax funds. I will buy other YieldMax ETFs like MSTY, SQY, NVDY and BABO after a major market decline. I missed the buying opportunities in September.

Already retired and investing heavily in the higher yielding Yield-max funds. I had the weeklies for a while but the accounting in my several software apps (stock lot tracking in 6 accounts, dividends in electronic check book, tax spreadsheet), was taking too much of my time. Brokerage forecasts 90% gains for coming year. I take out money for taxes and bills and the accounts still grow. So fast in fact that I've lost more tax deductions throughout the year from going over income limits so I have to refigure quarterly tax payments often.

@@juliocs5483 IWMY, USOY, TSLY, YBIT / NVDY, PLTY / CONY, ULTY / MSTY, SQY Use dividends in week to buy best currently projected return ticker for following week, keep the compounding snowball rolling. Take out necessary cash for quarterly taxes. Same in Personal and IRA accounts except no withdrawals from IRAs.

YMAX and svol are our top funds. To “retire” off these funds you have to reinvest a portion of the distributions back in, approximately 25-30% back in to keep the nav up.

Shane I think thats a great point, over time I could see how you might make less and less if you aren't consistently getting new shares, better to be safe then sorry and this is a great point

A couple uses for Yieldmax ETFs: 1. Invest a large amount and use the dividends to pay a monthly bill allowing you to allocate that capital you'd normally use for a bill to invest elsewhere. 2. Use the dividends to invest into a reasonable dividend producing stock and let it grow/snowball while continuing to invest your normal investing amount and reinvesting those dividends. There is minimal reason to buy and try to use as monthly income due to the inconsistent dividend payments. The downside is the tax you get taxed on these since you don't get the special dividend tax rate.

i agree with most of the analysis.. but just like a job these have similar uncertainties because these funds crucially depend on the AUM and Jay himself has said that any of these funds falling below 10 mil (not the ones which have just launched) would make it unsustainable and they might have to close it. So i personally would not consider these as retirement funds, i would use this to get money to put in growth / dividend stable stocks/etfs over and over until those give me proper income . If these last until then that's great there'll always be a portion invested , if they crash and burn then i should still be fine.

It’s been flat which I hope is trying to stabilize. I’m all ymax but with low share price and an average distribution price of $0.80, kinda hard to resist. Almost like buying like a twin brother of ymax but half the price and gives it monthly. My goal is to primarily retire on ymax with drip on, have ymag drip off to feed ymax and/or contribute to ulty.

Agreed. Since inception, ULTY is down about $10 per share and they have paid out just under $10 per share. Basically meh
