Not sure which version of Stay Alive you watched but so everyone knows, there are two versions to the movie. The movie was made and sold to a studio. The studio then used scenes from the movie to promote it, with all the blood and gore, but, went back and cut the movie, removed parts, etc, basically neutering the film. The first version, and best one, is still available for purchase on dvd. The other version is available on streaming platforms.

@@mgass1354 Thank you for saying this! I saw this when I was younger and I could have sworn there were scenes that they didn’t show in the one we rented. I just thought I was crazy because it was so long ago. Like wasn’t there a scene with the countess getting naked in the tub under Abigail, also they showed the cops death in the vehicle and a longer scene of the friends who died in the beginning. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like I couldn’t have made that ALL up 😂

@@MovieMoorons You're not crazy. If you rented the movie off of a streaming platform, you likely got the cut version. If you liked the movie and want to keep a copy to rewatch for the future, then buy the dvd. The dvd is not very expensive and really, it's the only version worth watching because the cut version actually messed with the backstory as well as the gore scenes so is hard to follow. There is a video, think it's on YT, that documents it all.

@@MovieMoorons I'm happy to find a reaction channel that is doing some of the more obscure movies (gave a sub because of it). You just got unlucky on this one due to the whole fiasco with the studio which isn't very common. There are plenty of good movies that are older and not as mainstream to do as reacts (wife and I have over 2500 movies in our library).
