RedCapeCon yes they do, the ones dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki had built in titanium reactors that prepared the nuke for detonating soon impact by shooting a fire out to the tip of the bomb for explosion upon impact, hints why some nukes are found inactive because the nuclear titanium reactor malfunctioned , they have no way of having a remote detonate of a nuke because they would be so far across the world that the delay would be minimal to at least 1 hour
@Wolf-yp2qk7 жыл бұрын
Actually, the bombs were detonated 500 to 600 meters above the ground. There is a reason for this, as detonating the bombs above the ground creates massive destruction through the largest diameter circle possible. I've finally identified why there are 3 Vsauces. Vsauce is more about paradoxes and other topics relating to the human brain, society, etc. with questions that make you think and may give you an existential crisis (very common) Vsauce2 is focused on mathematics and more paradoxes than Vsauce, a majority of videos being on topics of mathematical problems, paradoxes, and games. Vsauce3 is the "What if?" of the trio, making videos about video games and questions such as "could you survive ______?" or other topics such as "Is _______ really the villain?". This trio makes it easiest to answer the most things in our world than one could do alone. I'm glad that there are 3 Vsauce channels for me to subscribe to and watch.

I live in Pasadena, Texas. 15 minutes from the refineries and 40 minutes from Downtown Houston. I do not worry about nuclear weapons because I would not live for long if we were attacked. I don't think I'd like to live to see the aftermath, everything around here's made of wood and the land is soooooo flat. It is far more likely for me to meet my end while driving on my way to or from work. I worry about tired, sleepy and/or drunk drivers. The nukes will sit on storage and rust until people realize they are a waste of money. Cut the resources toward nukes and build cars that won't start if the driver's impaired in any way. Or spend it all on staples which are actually useful.

Nukes in storage actually do work: they are a deterrent. If another nation decides to increase its military, they can be taken out of storage and suddenly jump up the size of your active nuclear arsenal. Which is what's preventing anyone from using their own arsenal. Don't think that just because they (thank god) aren't being used, they are not serving a useful role.
