In these days of click bait fame, I can only imagine the glee of that young reporter as he thought (from his own conditioned logic), “Whooeee! I’m gonna’ get viral clicks on this one,” without considering the cause and effect consequences of his actions. I do hope this becomes part of his learning curve and he learns the grace of understanding how we are ALL on our learning curves-sloppy as that growth might be-and I also hope we learn to uplift each other with respect instead of working under the misbegotten belief that to tear someone down somehow lifts you up. It doesn’t. In fact, just the opposite. And, in this case, that young reporter also has to deal with the knowledge that he was a patsy. We live and learn through trial and error.
