カウントベイシーを住んでいる札幌で目の前で聞きました。まだ高校三年だったと思います。 チケットはどこまで運がいいのか前から5か6列め、しかも下手で見上げるとカウントベイシーとフレデリイグリーンがいました。 高校生の親のすねかじりにはろくな音がしないステレオより目の前で演奏するオヤジ達はやたらとカッコ良かったです。

stuart graham No worries, Stuart. After Butch Miles left in 79/80, Basie had several drummers. Sometimes in overlapping periods, regarding (gigs) and their availability. Cheers!
