This tune, as played by Eric Dixon is too beautiful for words. As a Trombonist, and remember "pretty" is what bone is all about, I'm super- impressed by how gorgeous this Tenor playing really is: I just hope someday I'll find another Eric Dixon for my own big band. Great job by a great and very talented musician ( I think he wrote the chart as well).

Just gorgeous! Correct title is: "You Are Too Beautiful," written by Billy Preston & Bruce Fisher. Eric Dixon was one of Basie's best.
