I used Venusaur, and it nuked this thing super fast. Max Special Attack Max Special Defense Shell Bell Poison Tera Moves: Worry seed, acid spray, sludge bomb, Venoshock Strat turn 1 worry seed to give serperior Insomnia, turns 2-4 use acid spray to build tera and get Serperior to minus 6 special defense, turn 5 tera poison use slugde bomb to possibly poison it and if it got poisoned venoshock for double damage

My Moveset was sorta the same as yours but instead I used a gengar. Instead of worry seed I used skill swap. And used acid spray until I tera and did the rest. Sometimes it will deactivate acid spray due to cursed body but with a poisoned seperior venoshock will still do a lot of damage. Evs: Max hp and max Def. And the rest on sp atk.

Knocked it out on the first try because someone brought a venusaur, which worked amazing. I had a toxapex, which worked ok but I had a much easier time with hisuian goodra since it resists everything that serperior could throw at it. Hisuian goodra can have sap sipper, but the AI is smart enough to not use leaf storm and everytime I've used it, I've always had a gastro acid come my way. I have sunny day, flamethrower, sludge bomb, and life dew for group recovery on my steel-tera hisuian goodra

I had success with these two non-DLC builds. Swalot: Poison-Tera; Shell Bell; Modest nature; Max HP & SpA; Sludge Bomb, Gastro Acid, Acid Spray, Venoshock. Use Gastro Acid turn 1, then 3 Acid Spray. Tera and Sludge Bomb, switching to Venoshock if Serperior is poisoned. Re-apply Acid Spray after Serperior clears it's debuffs. Eelektross: Fire-Tera; Shell Bell; Modest nature; Max HP & SpA; Flamethrower, Gastro Acid, Acid Spray. Use Gastro Acid turn 1, then 3 Acid Spray. Tera and Flamethrower until more Acid Spray is needed. EDIT: added Charge Beam to increase Special Attack after the stat clear. After the 3 Acid Spray, Tera and then use Charge Beam until +6, then Flamethrower to destroy the shield and bypass the need for more Acid Spray.

Bro I used the same Delphox build but immediately after the sweet scent on turn 1 it used gastro acid and suppressed my ability, which I didn't think would stick since I then switched our abilities but no, my ability stayed off. I was gonna quit the battle but thankfully that build carried nasty plot and flamethrower so I could bring my special attack back up to neutral then go for +6 flamethrower. I just found it funny that I immediately wasn't able to use the main strategy of the build but thankfully it had a back up. Anyway I got 3 sour herba mystica so that's nice.

Yeah I was not expecting turn 1 for it to turn off my ability and for it to stay off the entire battle, it's a good thing the build carries both nasty plot and fire attack that doesn't drop your stats, I just wish I that I was able to use the original strat because it's fun messing up your opponent with the contrary ability.

The NPC in the Coastal Plaza near the fountain and vending machines can convert 15 Twigs into a Galarica Wreath. You can also take a bit of a risk and use Nasty Plot just after your stats reset to speed up the raid if you are farming. Ideal raid partners are Bellibolt (Light Screen and Discharge) and special attackers. Unideal would be Intimidators.

Intimidators are actually super useful post-skill swap (at most it gets to +2 atk). Having slack off > sludge bomb/wave is a safer Strat if you get unlucky and need to have reliable healing. And Clear Amulet prevents defense drops

I used a physical version of this strat with Leech Life, Lunge and Swords Dance and its a lot more consistent because you dont need to worry about the stupid Iron Tail defense drops that happen too much.

Got it on the 2nd try, thanks! Kinda got lucky that it got paralyzed and missed a leaf storm or two. I had a Bellibolt but didn't see it use Light Screen. Not sure tho. This is what I tried aside from the aforementioned: Max SpAtk and SpDef, rest on HP. Fire Tera, obviously. Sunny Day 1st turn and spam Torch Song. Wait until KO to tera. Upon Terastalizing, use Sunny Day. Once again, spam Torch Song. Pray you get it. Maybe Bellibolt was the goat in the end because it wasn't on my first run.

Out of all the starter raid events, this was the easiest one ever, and I got mine on the first try. Just bring a whole squad of fire or flying types, and you should be all good. Oh, let's not forget that Skill Swap.

Didn't have the tm for Nasty Plot already in my bag so I left the Sunny Day that was already on it's moveset and used that on the turn he reset stat changes was in no risk of being knocked out that round and it made it a little faster to knock the Serperior out!

Fun raid. My strat was Tinkaton. Lv 100. Steel makes it resistant to grass, fairy makes it immune to breaking swipe. Gave it the bug-type move Skittet Sneak and spammed it to keep Serperior’s Sp Atk down while other players went nuts. Didn’t mind being tank/support.

I did the same kind of build, except I had covert cloak attached. The only two things that can go wrong are either being hit with gastro acid (which as you saw doesn't always happen). The other thing is if you're doing it with multiplayer and people use Simple Beam Galarian Slowking.

Definitely went easier for you than it did with me with Venusaur. Sometimes he will use Gastro acid, sometimes doesn't. Fire types you have less worry about Iron Tail due to resistance. Delphox may be the way to go for this.

You sure the Eelektross build works? Turn one it gets outspeed by serperior who will get +2 boost after using leafstorm, you can use gastro acid but turn 2 it's a guaranteed knock out isn't it? Unless I'm missing something

Found Gastro Acid Spidops (Bug Tera with max Bug Bite & X-Scissor) and Swalot (Poison Tera with max Acid Spray & Sludge Bomb) to be quite useful for this one once you give them the Covert Cloak. A bit time consuming, but enjoyable.

venusaur + clear amulet + worry seed + acid spray + sludge bomb + Synthesis use worry seed to change the ability then use acid spray to lower special defense. clear amulet prevents defense drop from iron tail and evasiveness drop from sweet scent. start spamming sludge bomb after that. if it gets a crit or you need hp use synthesis.

You can also simple beam it too so it would always drop to max -satk faster in a team player raid. To bad sv only has 3 users. Grumpig, latios and golduck. Grumpig is the only one without weakness and has the same hp sdef bulk as Latios. So I recommend max hp sdef evs simple beam, light screen, body slam for para when its shielded and helping hand defensive tera for pure support or max hp sdef evs simple beam, light screen, calm mind/nasty plot and stored power tera psychic for mixed.

I been able to kill it in 4 turns before the shield goes up quite consistently with a friend. This is the strat we run Galarian-Slowking (ability doesn’t matter, it will be skill swapped) Skill swap Acid spray Heal pulse Sludge wave With the tera poison Modest max HP and special attack Chi Yu Nasty plot Taunt Lave plume(flamethrower is also ok, just in case something messes up and the serp nullifies stats) Overheat Modest, max special attack, 108 speed and the rest in HP, this is to creep serp So in 90% of our raids, we were able to 1 shot serp before it nullifies stats. Turn 1 gking goes for skill swap, chi yu goes for taunt. Taunt prevents serp for going for gastro acid, which it does use vs beads of ruin too Turn 2 gking acid sprays to drop serp’s spdef by 2 and chi yu goes for nasty plot. We were usually able to do this for 1 more turn before serperior nullifies stats. I think only 1 time it did that before we were able to drop overheat. So after 2 nasty plots you want to overheat and serp will get 1 shot

Used the Delphox. Always got hit with a gastro acid after I swapped skills and used the Overheat. So the nasty plot helped clear it regardless and got two herbs. It also stops using leaf storm as often and will go for the steel tail.

EASY WIN THIS IS LEAVANNY'S FIGHT! Leavanny [Bug/Grass] Ability: Chlorophyll Tera: Bug Held Item: Shell Bell Evs 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6HP IV: go super train X-Scissor for STAB Entrainment Swords Dance Reflect First turn Entrainment. Serperior will first turn gastro acid to seal your ability but it means bunk with Chlorophyll. Attack with X-scissor until it debuffs the raid group. Then Sword Dance & hit it till it faints. Reflect or group cheer if really needed (you likely won't). Bug/Grass typing means Serperior can only hit effectively with Iron Tail, and you can out-heal the damage with Shell Bell. Have fun. I beat it with Skeledirge really easily. All you have to do is equip an Ability Shield. Just spam Torch Song and heal with Slack Off when at low health. That's it.
