Interesting story. My friend, who works in critical care, hiked Everest and took a portable sats probe machine from work with her. On the flight (commercial airline), her sats were in the 80s (normal for a healthy adult is above 93%). When she got to Everest Base Camp, her sats consistently sat in the 70s!

I subscribed to your channel after seeing your vlogs on Kara and Nate's channel. This has been an amazing video series. If I was 30 years younger I this would've been on my bucket list. I have a friend who made it to base camp, but had to take a chopper back to Lukla. I visited Bhutan in 2011 and tried a square of Yak Cheese. It tasted like Gruyere. I threw it out after my guide said it would take 3 hours to melt.
