38.6% of the global player base in North America, $3 Billion in spending by USA players, $361.4 million in-game spending by players this year. You would think they have more content that a pokemon with a hat and a lousy background to end the year? 🤣 Lackluster is an understatement. My comunity of pokemon go players is dying off faster that the pandemic of 2021. RIP Niantic.

There were a LOT of features released this year and a lot of great events and pokemon.There is always room for improvement and a massive improvement is needed in their monetization policies but saying it was lackluster is pure BS.

@bobthebuilder5213 I started in 2023. The Best year ever from my peer of plays in my community. When was the last ×2 friendship bonuses? I have so many friend waiting for this event. That happen last year this time. Tell me why Niantic has not done one of these event in 2024? 🤣 B.S? Reality is fact. Zero event for increasing friendship experience through upgrades. Fact.

@ especially when they give them Ice fang, their gonna be the absolute best ice type attackers in the game, i think Nerfantic is gonna implement the DNA splicers to limit them too

Count's Thoughts: I sure hope we get Mega Metagross this year... tired of all the teases. It's about time as well. We are down to the last 5 (I am counting Gallade as a Mega since we know we're getting it in less than 2 weeks from publication of this video/comment). Though I think we'll get at least two of the lesser desirable Megas - at least in terms of relevance, IMHO, before getting Mega Metagross. (Sharpedo, Camerupt, Audino). We will get all of these before Mega Mewtwo, and I think Go Tour 26. I do like the idea of Go Tour 25 with the Kyurum fusions. I'm looking forward to these. As we only have 37 (Stonjourner is the 37th and missing for most) Galar in the Dex, I would hope to see the dex doubled. Long Distance Lucky Trades would be awesome... even if we do only mirrors based on 5 pre-selected mons. I know I have a lot of friends around the world that I am lucky with that I want to trade with, but can't...at least this would work for everyone's benefit. Egg deletion would be awesome. I don't like 2&5 and am tired of getting them from spinning photodiscs. To be able to delete them until I get a bunch of 10s would be nice. I just hope any gameplay features are fully baked before they get shoved down our throats. You'll have to explain Beauty Contests... we already have the Showcases which I jokingly call "Beauty Contests"... I don't play the main line Pokemon Games, so I have no idea.

Things id want from Pokemon Go in 2025: Egg Ditching. Pokecenters (for breeding/healing). Mythical Trading. Arceus Release/Gen 4 Dex completion. GTS-Style Trades for GO. Elite Raids fixed and returned (pirouette-form Meloetta & Resolute-Form Keldeo released). Fixes for Avatars. Z/A New Megas.

Dude if I could remote shadows and gmax, and comm days on Saturdays only I’d be set. I don’t care about having to hatch eggs for certain Pokemon as long as I have a little time to do so. I’m not a FTP player but definitely on a pretty strict budget so I have to pick and choose some tickets and coin bundles, but remoting shadows would make me very happy. I live in a very small town so there are hardly any players for me to team up with or our schedules are so far apart….

Mega Mewtwo was one I was betting on for Go Fest 2024 this year. Necrozma surprised me, but it did make sense. That said, while I think next year would make sense, I also think they may (unfortunately) hold it back ANOTHER year for 2026. Because we're now just 1 year away from 2026, I think they'd hold off. Why? Well, 2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the franchise and 10th anniversary of the game, so it seems like they'd want to save it for that year, possibly Go Fest 2026. It would suck to wait that long, but I'm expecting it. For Go Fest 2025, if not Mega Mewtwo, I could maybe see them doing Urshifu. Although, with Kubfu being the pre-evolution, I could also seem them treating that more like a Poipole/Cosmog situation. Maybe Calyrex then?

gotta disagree with routes, i love them, reason i started playing. id love it if i can buy another zygard, started last july, almost lvl42, got a crap zygard but got it sorted.....now on 134 more cells.... so im hoping i buy another for 100 for example before i max out again lol!

Party play is ok but needs to be better. My kids like it. I see no point to do some tasks like use 35 berrys to catch pokemon for 3 pinab berrys

@@seanjackson3072 Try doing RAIDS in Party Play, and if u are picking a TASK, choose the Mystery Pokemon, because it has a HIGH CHANCE, especially during big events, TO GIVE YOU A HUNDO, as well as a Shiny, or a SHUNDO, and the rate is HIGH! Kind of annoying when u fill up storage. But the DAMAGE OUTPUT on RAIDS is DOULBLED which is VERY GOOD on ELITE RAIDS if u lack enough players. When this feature first launched I could get triple damage output in raids, a lot, and 1 time I got 4X Damage Output on the charged moves, but they walked it back down to DOUBLE ONLY. When I show up for various events, here in New England, its very common for people to ask me to do Party Play with them, and they'll keep on doing it for hours. I think they want the end photo that shows my Avatar with them because I'm pretty popular where I live, even when I visit a different town or city, and I'm Level 50. So, maybe that's mind blowing to N00bs??? Also, Pokemon u catch in a Party Play will show the names on it of who you did the Party Play with. Also, sometimes, there's RARE EEEVEELUTION Avatar T-SHIRTS offered once in a while as a Prize in the Party Play Task options WHICH U CANNOT GET IN THE SPECIAL RESEARCH REWARDS. I don't have them all yet. If u like doing Carpool Raids, there's often options that cater to those in Party Play as well, like: "win 5 raids" so if it's Raid Day, you could get rare Candies or TMs, or whatever they're offering.
