@@cornman3266 you do know that while it's 85% European, even China, Russia and even US work with each other on a scientific level on many things, right? I mean for instance, nowadays we praise Corea for their ability to master fusion, then next China and last French with ITER (that itself is a worldwide collaboration.. But still mostly French, its like saying that the EU have a space program, they don't without France.). But its all thanks to Russian designs and worldwide collaboration with mostly Russian, China, French and the US.

For some context, the black hole disappeared because of hawking radiation, which causes black holes to die. With a very small hole, it doesn't take much time, still quite a bit though

The large hadron collider does create black holes but they only have like 2 particles worth of mass so they disappear in like a second

The Large Hadron Collider actually does create miniaturized black holes however they are way too short lived to cause anything significant damage, overall the Large Hadron Collider is relatively safer for humans to be around. As long as it'll stick your head between the particle beans

Yeah so some background: when they first opened the Large Hadron Collider, there were some conspiracy theorists saying that it was going to create a black hole to destroy the world. Fortunately, this didn’t happen, as the microscopic black holes created in the collider immediately disappear because they’re just that small.

Oh, now I understand a little bit about this controversial mega project (which led to the formation of a artificial black hole a.k.a the little big bang) which was made by CERN since 1984 which was modeled as a time machine to find out the origin of the creation of the universe through antimatter physics and it was reported that in 2012, Higgs boson discovered. Btw, I like this topic. Just like the topic previously about a researcher making an artificial sun project 😁

it is just a particle collider, that is soo big, that when it collide it create soo hot temperature, that it is very close to a big-bang temperature, just to see what it create; new atoms, ect... It isn't a 'time-machine'.
