@2:19 the reason Mexico is not legally forced to defend the USA is because historically Mexico has maintained a neutral stance regarding international conflict. The whole theory of its foreign relations is called the Estrada Doctrine. The only time Mexico has entered in international conflict in the modern era was in WW2 after 2 mexican ships where sunk by German U-Boats. Mexico has also been pioneer in having LATAM as a Nuclear Free Zone (even when it has had the capacity to manufacture Nuclear Weapons in the last 50 years) (if wanted to know more, look up the Treaty of Tlatelolco).

In Australia, high school start times range from 8:30-9:00 and finish between 3:00-3:30. Starting at 7:30 is crazy to me unless you have some weird extra-curricular event. My classes don't even start until 9am.

You all start school so early in the US. In the UK, 9am is the normal start time, lunch is around 12-1 and school ends at 3-3.30 depending on age. Then if you have after school clubs you might be finished at 4.30-6.00 (those are optional though).

The high school thing is weird since I went to a school in Cali that started at 7:00 AM and ended at 3:30 PM every day. There was also a zero period year long course for those wanting to study and get tutoring in the SAT that many parents required their kids go to each year until they took the exam at the end of junior year, so the day started at 6:00 AM for many of us.
