Considering you mentioned French overseas territories, I'm surprised you didn't mention the French-Dutch border on the Caribbean island of St. Martin. The southern half is part of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, the northern half is a part of France. So despite being separated by Belgium on the European map they actually share a border in a completely different part of the world.

@kostam.1113

That border was intentional, it was made so that Russia and UK don't touch each other. Russia controlled Central Asia while UK controlled India (Pakistan...) and Afghanistan was maintained as a buffer zone.

Would the Indian Ocean belong to India or is it just the territorial waters Also would the Antarctic Ocean be owned by all the countries that own parts of Antarctica? Just an idea. I’m a big fan. The appeal of his videos is that it’s not scripted and it’s general enthusiasm vomiting it’s way out of his mouth. That’s what makes it charming and infectious. You can always slow it down to .75 for normal speed but I understand him because I too have so much going on in my head that my brain runs so quickly that my mouth can’t keep up with it. 2:04 There's very curious history. After WWII Joseph Stalin on Yalta Conference wanted to give Kaliningrad to Poland, but he thought it was fine military point, so he claimed it. It was USRR. In 1991, when the USSR broke into lots of countries, this observation point, that earlier wasn't in any SSR, stood in Russia. It's very interesting! Post scriptum _I knew all the borders xD_

In fact, Ceuta and Melilla were conquered in the XV century, when Marocco wasn't really an unified state, so it is not quite the same thing as Gibraltar. Furthermore, they are very close to the rest of Spain, but Gibraltar is much further away from UK. I'm not getting political though, just remarking on the differences. I really don't care if Gibraltar is British, as long as UK and Spain get along. :)

Please let me explain the reason the Kaliningrad exclave/Russian part of old Ostpreußen exists more in-depth: Less important: Slav territories taken over by the teutonic order during the crusades Became Prussia (Preußen) Prussia merged with the house of Brandenburg creating a dominant power in central europe Important: Germany formed under Prussia (1871) --> controls Ostpreußen Germany keeps control over Ostpreußen after WWI but loses control over Danzig, etc During WW2 civilians flee/were displaced from all of Ostpreußen and all the German regions east of the Oder-River --> no (very few) Germans remain so the USSR resettles slavic peoples like the poles into Ostpreußen This then leads to the northern part of Ostpreußen, now the Kaliningrad/Königsberg exclave to be given to the USSR but formally under the control of the russian SR The southern part was given to Poland who controls it up to this day (and rightfully since the biggest ethnicity that resides there is polish, same with the northern part but russian)

Go into the video settings, put it on .75 ...at 25% slower, he will sound like he's talking at a normal speed, even a little fast still. Now, change it to .50, half speed of his regular speech . This is probably how he sounds when he gets shitfaced drunk. You're welcome.

actually the UK, Chile and Argentina claims in Antarctica that overlap do make sense, the overlap is basicly that peninsula that has kind of a milder climate and actually a good portion of it is not in the antarctic circle, so it might be the only place in Antarctica that can hold proper human settlements, not just research stations

It's not a land border but still interesting: france actually has territory in north america! It's a remnant of an old treaty, but saint pierre et miquelon islands are still a part of france, although a small one with a population of like 6000, but still one, which means that the three countries closest to canada are, of course, USA and denmark, but surprisingly also france!
