Actually, and a Filipino here, Lupang Hinirang means "Chosen Land" and it's not the only name our anthem has. We also call the anthem Bayang Magiliw meaning "Beloved Country". Both of these names can be heard in the first verse of the anthem itself: Bayang Magiliw, perlas ng silanganan Alab ng puso, sa dibdib mo’y buhay Lupang Hinirang, Duyan ka ng magiting, Sa manlulupig di ka pasisiil. Oh, and we also have our Patriotic Oath or Panatang Makabayan that we say after every time we sing the anthem.

And while "recht" does mean "right," I think a more accurate translation in this context would be "justice." Rights, are an aspect of justice but there is more to it (making laws which uphold your rights, then enforcing said laws).
