Just found this, thanks. I’m looking at a used one, and this is my #1 favorite feature. I ran across a a product many years ago called Mo Deck. It’s basically a clear lacquer to spray on a clean dry deck and it really prevents a lot of buildup. So every year, off season, I wire brush any dried stuff, hose it down, let it dry, soak it with Mo Deck, let it dry in the sun. Bonus, it keeps it from rusting too. Maybe any slick paint would work?? If I like test drive, I’m looking forward to working on a deck this way!

What holds the deck up from flipping down again .?
@staceyshereandthere5 ай бұрын
The weight of the lawnmower. The position the manufacturer has it sit at keeps it very sturdy.

@@staceyshereandthere is this how belt changes are performed? How easy is it to change the belt(s). Thanks man.

I haven’t had to change a belt yet but if it was too difficult to do it with the deck all the way down then I suppose having the deck flipped up would work as well.
