Country Corner Cycles C-Drive @ Compton Acres, Dorset

I have been asked how well the rear drive copes on hills, so I've found the 'worst' hilly going at Compton Acres Gardens near Poole in Dorset where they have laid wheelchair access to bypass the many steeply stepped areas but boy, you would need someone shoving you from behind on many of the sections, I would hardly call them 'wheelchair-friendly', so as many of us like to go out independently, the C-Drive becomes your friendly 'shove' from behind, the trail had lumpy tarmac and flagstones and this video really shows how well the rear drive copes.
Some sections were so steep, that the drive was 'kicking' a bit but she would find 'bite' again and keep powering.
She could not grip on tiny gauge chicken wire on the two steep little wooden bridges so had to get a human 'boost'.
Some of the sections of the garden trails were level, so you can revert to your own muscle power by having the controller in neutral and then just switch on to low, medium or high speed as soon as you feel it becoming too much of a strain on the poor old arms/shoulders.
Next video I make will be to Kingston Lacey, a lovely National Trust property just outside of Wimborne in Dorset and we will give the drive a good test over grass.

Hi, yes you can take this on a plane, you take it on with your cabin luggage, it is within flight regulation specifications.
