I, as a Russian, noticed in many episodes from other videos that the girl from Russia actually doesn't know many words, phrases. It seems that she hasn't been in Russia much, or left long ago and forgot. Because in fact, in many moments she could say that "yes, we also have this word and it is also used this way", but she says "no, we don't say it that way, we don't have it" In Russia, people often say "the United States" (or simply "the States") in conversation, and not just "America"

(If one is a native speaker of Russian or even a native speaker of Spanish etc and is learning English or trying to improve one’s English and trying to learn Danish and Icelandic and Norse etc, knowing what these sounds really are will definitely help with the pronunciation of the words that have these sounds, so I tend to explain these sounds whenever they are mentioned in a video or comment etc, as I noticed that no one that teaches those languages knows how to explain these sounds correctly, and learners end up confusing them with other sounds that they are familiar with!)

@@FrozenMermaid666 In Russia, English is taught in schools. There are many sounds that do not exist in Russian, and vice versa. Therefore, mutual accents are strong. But Russians master English better than the English master Russian.

Technically, ppl don’t ‘master’ languages or any other things, so it’s not a correct term to refer to fluency (only I the actual Leader / Master etc can ever master languages and other things in general) and, it’s also not true that ppl that speak Russian as a native language are speaking English better than native speakers of English can speak Russian, in fact, most ppl I hear that speak Russian as the native language and English as a 2nd languages aren’t fluent in English yet, only some of the younger ones are fluent in English, and, it’s kinda like that with speakers of English as well, so I have only heard a few English speakers that are fluent in Russian and that speak Russian as natives do, or any other language, and that’s probably because most ppl in general aren’t good at language learning because they don’t take it seriously and haven’t fully realized that it’s one of the best hobbies that can be super fun and also because they haven’t considered a career that’s related to language learning and languages, so, most ppl in general don’t really try to learn languages fluently and to be a polyglot and don’t use the best language learning methods and are always trying to find a shortcut that doesn’t exist, so they never get to a native speaker level or to a writer level in other languages, but there are also a few learners that are very interested in languages and that use great learning methods that get to a fluent level in multiple languages or that are in the process of getting fluent in many new languages, including myself and my protectors and other diplomats and some others that work for certain ągęncies and certain military ppl, and, in the future, ppl are going to be using multiple languages as the universal languages, including English and Norse and Gothic and Icelandic and Dutch and Norwegian and Welsh etc, as we are planning to mąkę about ten languages or so the universal languages, so, the future is going to be focused on language learning and diplomatic stuff and environmental protection etc, so, my vision for the future is, a green future where the speakers are all polyglots and fluent in multiple languages, and, that’s actually just a tiny part of my vision for the future!

Пока у меня смешанное чувство, то ли Таиссия плохо собственный язык знает (это про Соединённые штаты Америки), то ли она так углубилась в изучение корейского или ещё какого языка, что они начали вытеснять родной из памяти. Just a suggestion: given that a big part of this channel is about pronunciation of different languages, it would be good either not to have any music, or to have music but with lower volume. "United States" у нас говорят "Соединённые Штаты", а "Америка" - это "America". В конце 80-х 90-е было распространено "Штаты", но сейчас так уже никто не говорит. It's definitely influence from being on the Internet and hearing them call it America. Even just before the 2010s, when Facebook hadn't even launched yet, it was never done in almost any European language I had tried. Now it can be quite common for the youth. In Japanese and Korean it was common because they're still occupied post-war, so they speak like the occupiers, but pre-war it also wasn't common (they used 米国 Kome-kako and 미국 Migug, as they likely still do in the DPRK).

I think you are talking about our "j" (jota), letter present in words as "jamón", "Japón", "jirafa", "jefe", "joroba", etc,etc... And I'm afraid it sounds as she pronounced it. Well maybe she put a little more stress than normal to bring atention over the fact that it sounds diferent from the other languages in the video, but her pronuntiation was correct.

Funny but. I live in Sri Lanka in city called Galle. And they have 2 ways to say it - [g a l l e] and [g o: l l]. Literally 2 days ago I wondered about it. The local man told me about Portuguese "gallo". She put it as Объединенные Штаты Америки (kind of like joined). Correct is Соединенные Штаты Америки (United). In colloquial speech you can also hear just Cоединенные Штаты or simply Штаты. If it were the way she said it, than it would be ОША - but Taya herself says США. Италия (Italy) - л (L) actually is very soft. It is not hard at all. Saying hard л (L) would be completely incorrect. And of course Denmark is Дания (Daniya) - not Денмарк as she said. Looks like even though she is a native speaker, Taya's exposure to Russian is limited.

Yeah, in russian it's hard to see the difference. For country is "Braziliya" and for capital is "Brazilia". We just add ending "ya" to all borrowed foreign countries' names. Probably there's 2 reasons for that, it fits words in our cases system and it's just sound better in this way.
