I live in MN...Wal-Mart has resorted to locking more items in locked glass cabinets. Tide pods are ons, and most recently noticed skin care items like lubriderm and cerave. What a shame!

Walmart’s eye in the sky sophisticated surveillance system is like top of the line. They can zoom into reading the screen of the scanning register and even as accurate as cellphone text messages.

I refuse to use the self checkouts anywhere. Now if they want to give me 10% off everything then I'll scan my stuff . But i will be slower than a snail to double check the prices.

@@joleenspelbrink3265 I feel worse when people steal from mom and pop stores but it is NOT a good practice to steal from anyone. I would love to see what would happen if the local Wal-Mart here in senior citizen land could actually find store detectives to run their loss prevention department, I would love them to give the Sheriff's Department some business at the jail and get video of the perps faces when they get cuffed from behind and stuffed in the back of a cop's cruiser on the internet. I won't list the city but I have heard the Wal-Mart here is candy land for shoplifters because they can't get people to work at the store (and for the area Wal-Mart pays top dollar just to staff the store compared to most areas of the country). They do have one of those rooms off to the side of the entry way but I have only seen the door open once in then 25 years the store has been open. Since they sell most of the equipment in the store anyway it would seem like the store would have been equipped with the monitors, computers and cameras during the last remodel a couple of years ago.

It sounds like the chick has a record already. She had priors and an arrest warrant out on her from another county. I think she will be getting very used to being handcuffed, deep south states don't usually mess around with people stealing repeatedly.

That was what I was thinking, too. Also, most insulin come in a pre-loaded syringe that looks nothing like the ones they use in the hospital or that drug addicts use nowadays.

I admit to being half asleep while this was playing, but did I hear her say she has a syringe in her purse because she's "borderline diabetic"? I'm pretty sure they don't put you on insulin if you're borderline, that would typically be just dietary changes. Maybe some doctors would prescribe an oral med like metformin for being borderline but not insulin. They said she's been charged with drugs before, guess she's still using.

So we got “Griffi…” for her surname and “Kata…” for the forename. There seemed too long a gap after the surname for there to only be one missing letter, so I think probably “Griffiths” or maybe “Griffith” is more likely than “Griffin”. As for the forename, surely it’s “Katarina”, or it might just be “Katana”. If anyone can find shoplifting beefs under any combination of the above then that’s likely to be her. If there’s a DoB which matches what we heard of that then surely that’s a dead cert. If I were her then I don’t think I’d accept that enough had been blanked out to make my name anonymous!
